dearpreye: Some may say it has passed. After all he made the speech a few days ago. Some may have even forgotten. We're always quick to forget and move on like nothing evil or significant has happened. It's not the same with me. I don't forget event or dangerous words.
For the uninitiated, a few days ago, our President, MB, while addressing some audience in far away South Africa said he thought Nigeria was headed for a Somalia.
It's now very worrying that some of us can no longer see anything out of place with PMB. His words and actions are almost beyond any mishap or mistake. Infact, anyone who disagrees with him is seen as foolish, hateful and dumb. That's the rhetoric now!
Even here a few threatening threads were created to warn anyone who shall lampoon and criticise the person of the President.
I haven't taken my mind off that Somalia speech. Who was going to turn Nigeria into Somalia, a failed and lawless state? GEJ supporters or the supporters of PMB? It's very safe to safe we all know the answer. From those words, it's now clear that PMB and his group were ready to turn Nigeria into a Somalia had he not won the last elections. It's obvious he wasn't mincing words when he said in 2011 that the baboons and the dogs would soak in blood if the PDP rigs the election. RIG was clearly inserted in his speech as a decoy for the destruction and violence that would have erupted had he not won. From his speech, Nigeria is experiencing peace because he won the elections.
It was even insensitive and foolish for him to have used Somalia an an example in his talk.
It's obvious PMB and his foot soldiers had all their violent plans carefully put in place had he lost the elections. If some of his supporters get themselves killed when he was declared winner, how many more would have died if he was devalued having lost? Maybe a few hundreds. Maybe a few thousands.
PMB should be guided in his comments. He must be circumspect in his dealings, and be more taciturn and face squarely the enormous challenges lying ahead, rather than engage in making foolish comments that only pander to his children of hate and anger.
Many of you would have been roasted and suyaed but for the wisdom of GEJ!
I know the children of anger, whose hypocrisy is unfathomable, won't hesitate to this their hailstorm at me or totally avoid this thread like leprosy, that won't still stop from telling them the truth. PMB just made a conquest speech!
He that has an ear, let him hear. Anyone who underestimates the fury of these guys does so at their own peril. 1,000,000 likes for you. Who was going to turn Nigerian to Somalia? PDP or APC? Was that their plans? Are we enjoying peace because he won the election? One thing is certain, we haven't seen the end of the movie. Time shall tell. |

harde2lah: I do not know why some fools are so obsessed with Tinubu. If they are sick, it's Tinubu. They're hungry and looking wretched like low lifers that they are, it must be Tinub that caused it too. Let me state and reemphasize that the people of the SW have no regret whatsoever voting for Buhari. If we have the same opportunity again, we'll still vote for Buhari. Millions of Tinubu couldn't even have stopped Jonathan's defeat during the last election.
Voting in the SW is a personal thing. Why should I need a Tinubu before I decide on whom to vote for? Likewise for the rest of my fellow South westerners. Why can't you Igbos and their apologists respect our choice? If there will be consequences, then so be it! We do not know why you're crying more than the bereaved.
SW fought the cabals to pave way for Jonathan to ascend the presidency, but what did we get in return? During the struggle, Where were the likes of Ohaneze, Asari Dokubu, Edwin Clark and other Jonathan's apologists now reaping where they did not sow, especially the renowned AGIPs (they know themselves). It is the same people they like to call Coward that stood with Jonathan through thick and thin while our loud mouthed, chest beating, 'most hardworking', 'richest', 'most powerful' brothers were on Akpu consumption spree. What did we get from Gej as a thank you gift? our sons were sacked for no reasons, we were marginalized and all. only for otueke man to start romancing with the us again some weeks to the election like a pervert. He saw the handwriting on the wall but he choosed to ignore it. He thought his dollars would work wonders on us. Sorry! we not that cheap. his silly self still had to rely on OPC and Obas to win the SW. Laughable
It's high we, the people of the SW, started putting pressure on our Governors and hold them responsible. They must be accountable to us and we have to force them to deliver. They must be forced to thin outside the box and impact positively on the people they are governing. Aregbe is a failure that must be butted out.
Buhari, in your own best interest, take the advice of the Odua diaspora. Although, the northern born to rule mentality fear was there, despite this, we still voted for you because we trusted you and believed that you're different from them. Do not marginalize our leaders and sons in your government.
Pursue a Nigeria Agenda and not a Northern agenda. Respect the people of the Niger Delta and give them their due entitlement.
God bless Oduduwa land
God bless Nigeria You've said it all. God bless you Bro. God Bless Yorubaland. God Bless Nigeria. |

If they had stopped the damned picketing after 50days, Yoruba's would have no cause to do this.
The Doc F agreed, but he later apologized for his mistake.
Instead of them to forgive him and move on, they continued picketing the Doc for about two months calling on US Medical Registration Board to revoke his license as a practicing Doctor and shut down the Clinic the Doc owns.
They looked into the matter, for the reason best known to them, THEY REFUSED TO REVOKE THE LICENSE OF THE DOC.
I don't like the madness we Southerners are engaging ourselves home and abroad, this life is live and let others live.
Doctor Ariyo got it wrong agreed, since he's apologized, they should forgive him and bury the matter.
That's my opinion sha, I don tire to dey follow the issue online sef. |

Meanwhile, cancelling pipeline surveillance contract is a good move. We have armed forces and other para-military who are capable of protecting the pipelines. Problem was indiscipline. They all believe nothing dey happen, they only need to settle the ogas dem.

Source ...... http://theeagleonline.com.ng/three-nigerian-dons-separate-conjoined-twins-in-us-hospital-successfully/Olotoye, who is also the director of the Texas Children’s Fetal Centre and Co-Director of Baylor College of Medicine, said the twins were also linked at the abdomen and shared a common liver, but had separate heartsThree Nigerian medical experts have performed a successful 26-hour surgery on 10-month old conjoined twins in a hospital in Houston, Texas, USA. The experts are alumni members of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State. This was contained in a news bulletin of the university made available to the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Ile-Ife. The dons are Prof. Oluyinka Olutoye, a Paediatric surgeon with the Texas Children Hospital; his wife, Dr. Toyin Olutoye, an Anaesthesiologist; and Dr. Oluyemisi Adeyemi-Fowode, a Paediatric Gynaecologist. According to the bulletin, the three physicians were among the team of 12 surgeons which successfully separated the conjoined twins in a medical feat that is now being celebrated globally. It said Olutoye explained that the twins shared a common diaphragm, pelvis, lungs, intestines and lining of the heart and were conjoined at the chest almost head-to-head. Olotoye, who is also the director of the Texas Children’s Fetal Centre and Co-Director of Baylor College of Medicine, said the twins were also linked at the abdomen and shared a common liver, but had separate hearts. The bulletin further quoted Olutoye as saying: “It is a blessing to be part of a team that can help improve the lives of these two children. “Now, they have the potential to live a happy and normal life.” It said OAU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bamitale Omole, congratulated the trio on their success, describing them as worthy OAU ambassadors in the diaspora and who the University was indeed proud of. Omole said their achievements in the medical field had moved the university to one of the best in Nigeria and Africa. NAN.
