Hiploko:
It is everywhere that a Mosque has been burnt. Nigeria should be ready for crisis except God intervenes... This sort is food for the street boys in Kano, Kaduna etc... Churches and ibos would be used for retaliation.
You are right Bro.

They shouldn't have burnt the mosque.

They just gave food to the miscreant almajiris in Kano and Kano.

It seems the war is starting earlier than we'd envisaged.

Ask the farmers regarding how often you need to be going to the farm. All the best.

k bro thanks a lot...... Also how much can I start with nd how often should I be at the farm
Since you are serving in Taraba, I'd advise that you set it up in the state which is your family base. You may get the info which would help you to set up the farm.

For now, I'm not a rice farmer. I intend to farm rice in nearest future.

I will advise that you start with an hectare or two hectares depending on your capital.

You may use net to control birds. It's now on sale locally.

All the best.

bro I am currently serving in taraba nd wish to go into this rice farming but I do not know anything about it. Is it possible for me to be involved?? Maybe if I use the local village experts to run it. Is it possible?? Wat do u think
Yes. Talk to the villagers, you'll get first hand info from the farmers. You may employ a local to manage the farm for you. Start small and later expand. Don't forget about the birds, also ask the farmers how they prevent birds. Best of luck.

The rate at which PDP spreads pseudo-deaths is becoming alarming. The other day it claimed that an attempt was made on the life of Ekweremadu by a foreign-bearded man with light skin. The funny thing is that as busy as the scenes of the "attempted assassinations", no person other than Nurse Metuh gets to see them.

PDP and lies are inseparable. For more lies, text PDP to 2019.
You are right. Area 3 junction is always busy during the day.

Anthony Joshua: World heavyweight title fight with Tyson Fury ‘will happen’

Anthony Joshua believes an all-British world heavyweight title fight with Tyson Fury “will happen”.

Tyson Fury: what next for Britain's new heavyweight boxing champion?
Kevin Mitchell
Kevin Mitchell Read more
The 26-year-old Olympic champion watched on as Fury shocked Wladimir Klitschko to claim his WBA, IBF and WBO titles in Düsseldorf over the weekend, and he admits the public’s appetite for a bout with Fury could make it happen sooner rather than later.

“It’s interesting. Every time I’m pulling up to a petrol station or checking social media everyone says ‘When are you going to fight Tyson Fury?’ This was way before he became champion,” said Joshua, who faces Dillian Whyte at London’s O2 Arena on 12 December where he is looking to extend his perfect professional record in his 15th fight. “There’s always been an interest there. People want it to happen, at some stage down the line it will happen, whether it’s next year or the year after.”

Klitschko has the option of a rematch but Joshua revealed he would be keen to take on Fury if the opportunity arose in 2016. “I believe I can beat anyone, so I can beat Tyson Fury,” he added. “If the opportunity presents itself and it was the right opportunity, we would definitely take the fight.”
Joshua is going to rule the world. It's only a matter of time.

I pray he wins the match next month.

The dude is 6.6ft. Tyson is 6.9ft. Some dudes are tall. Peters is 6.1ft, if he was taller maybe he'd have defeated Klistcho who is 6.6ft.

We haven't seen the end of the saga, I'm glad Tinubu has intervened.

Since Audu kicked the bucket, his running mate should be the party's flagbearer.

Interesting movie. Still, I follow.

APC Puts Yahaya Bello’s Nomination On Hold, Calls For Emergency Meeting

Report reaching DAILY POST from the APC Secretariat in Abuja has it that the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has put on hold the nomination of Yahaya Bello as the governorship candidate of the party in the coming re-run in the state.

The party has consequently called for an emergency “stakeholders” meeting for 3pm with the aim of resolving impasse.

The nomination of Bello had sparked protests in Kogi State with many saying he is not fit to govern the state.

More to come…

Permit me to observe that it does not take any brain power to criticise and call your leaders failures and folks who are bereft of great ideas. Such criticisms do not really require any genius.

Most of the so-called leaders were once students abroad who were bright enough to return home and who worked their ways to leadership positions. The armchair youths of today, including many dumb ones on this thread forming expert analysts, I'm sorry to say, are worse than the leaders they are criticising.

The leaders are not aliens from Mars but fellow Nigerians and Yorubas. Get off your butts, roll up your sleaves, get in the trenches and show us how it is done. If you don't do that, I'm afraid 10years from now, you may still be on nairaland criticising the leaders of the day.

I have confidence that most of you are mature enough to take constructive criticisms. Yoruba youths ronu o.

It's unfair on those folks. At least, compensate them for their lands if anything.

You took their lands for FTZ and Lekki/Epe airport. Fair enough. Those two will benefit the axis immensely if completed.

But why go drag something that will likely pollute an area where folks are mostly riverine people, without adequate compensation/resettlement?

Also, why even bring the refinery to Lagos? Isn't the place already congested? These rogues think out of their arses and these are the clowns folks are touting as great leaders - hysterical. All they care about is what they'll steal and add to their family empires - not the people.
That project should have been cited in Olokola.

Lets all just take a breather . . . . . .if we wanna stay off the thread for a few days to chillax catch back our mojo! all well and good but leaving guys is not an option here, you guys have fought tribals wars and repeatedly won and your records in those regards are legendary. . . . .

I certainly understand all your angers and resentments regarding Seun's latest misadventure but at the same time lets not give those nay sayers ammunition to say they literally indirectly killed the "The Yoruba people's thread" . . . it's okay to be upset but not okay to leave the fight/thread just now, it might interest you to know this thread has undeniably brought many core ghost guest out of the woods and given them lots of reason to bare their mind on many burning national and regional matters, ideally they wouldn't have bothered in the hey days of tribal wars.

And again this thread is acting as a reference point to our yoruba brothers and sisters all over the world desiring to see what a real time online conversation/information/discuss about our strength, struggles, joys and victories of all things Yoruba, if you ask me? information out here and sentiments shared herein far out weights anything you read in text book and above all we are leaving good resources and digital footprints online for all to see especially for our 21st century yoruba in the diaspora in particular.

So lets exercise restraint and this too will certainly pass . . . .
You've said it all Sir.

One of the reasons why I changed my mind this morning and begged the Bororo. He's supposed to be our kisman, it's quite unfortunate.

The most important thing is that we got our thread back. I'm glad.

I'll be back on monday.

Goodbye for now.
