The batteries are GFM 2v vrla 800ah (12 in Number) currently using (only 6 of it ) with 12v 1.2kva inverter.other batteries to be connected later.Not mine for now maybe later.@ George D and co, my question is, is there any diff btw GFM 2v vrla and 12v Deep cycle vrla batteries in terms of charging,discharging,longevity,and safety. which one is the best. And if a solar panel is to be added, how many wattage(solar panel) will one need to acquire to fully charge a sum total of 9600ah.Hope my question is clear.thanks

all, ab7 sat can be gotten quickly using 80cm dish. Once u are able to track Sirius4 then tilt the dish upward a little BIT. use 10992 h 27500.

do u mean while still facing the east on sirius4 or move it westward on the same elevation.

@adedayo101, very simple.look for the sat u want to track coverage map say in lyngsat (e.g using any search engine- "lyngsat :eutelsat w4/w7 map".or u can click on the colour link in the eirp value column on the sat frequency chart on lyngsat .

@ I Hacked, i think with eutelsat w6 @ 21.6e (ku) as reference, arabsat 5c at 20.0e should be easy

90cm- w6(21.6east) as primary, eutelsat w3c(16east) then astra 2b(28.2east)+badr5(26east),eutelsat w4/7(36east), intelsat new dawn(33.2East)attached. A total of 7 lnbs
if u have this or close to it, kindly attach pics for me pls.with the whole dish on the stand.

mbc on w3a is determined by how high gain u have on ur 12728tp,weather,and of course dish size. with btw 68%-75% on zimbo and the weather is good, it is very stable.

it move up to 75*E and also 75*W so you can pick all ku satellite with this one dish

Wot u ve there re of two type i believe. i saw jack type on the floor and another one with a motor on the rooftop. how do we see one to buy. And can u take tym to give out a detailed installation guidelines.i mean in a word or pdf format download attachment. i am very interested. cheers.

Badr 5 is all french and there is no FTA channel there(xcept one with colour lines).But if u have ur ears and eyes in dark places of FTA, then u re about to enjoy lot of movies,magazine shows, documentary and of course, sports (canal+,infosport etc) on Badr 5.Even Epl and so forth. Because it is usually black screen so u can't see it. Jus get the ryt gadgets. Chikena!!

Can somebody help please! Am in need of a decoder that is a Twin tuner, HD DVB-S2,with Common Interface, USB, PVR, Ethernet, satellite sharing embedded dongle. it must be conax cas 7 and with well available support sites for updates. Also with a chipset that can handle some of "those guys" in naija.

i had the same problems nailing the 2 birds with 1 lnbf (hitting 64 apiece,but mbc 1&2 would not stay on round the clock),then i tried 2 lnbf's with W3 as my prime and SIRIUS as offset all to no avail until i made SIRIUS4 my prime and W3 the offset,now i have 75% for W3 and 80% for SIRIUS4 with MBC 1&2 always green and on.N/B I USE 1MTR dish.

Hello nairalanders, please how else can one improve his mbc 1&2 signal of w3a. My zimbo was 73% & Mbc was working 24hrs until i added another lnb for Sirius 4. My sirius 4 is a little bit tricky & funny. it will not pop out unless the lnb flat end is almost in front of the w3a lnb from the right. Its round end covers the round end of the w3a lnb a little thereby reducing it by 5% thus making the mbc to show (flunctuating between 49%-57%) from 6.45pm-9.00am without cracking while totally red for the rest of the day. All my efforts to do a w3a/sirius 4 with one lnb didn't work because the lnb must move forward from the bracket point before it hit green for sirius. it is a 1m daarsat dish, 0.1 echosat (w3a) & 0.3 strong(sirius) lnb.

Get its(4663) latest patch to try your luck with. The keys are already written in the softcam present in them. if no result, then the solution is dongle or other means.

Greetings fellow satmates , has anybody tried to view canal+ on badr 5 @26E. i was thinking, if 4 stations can open (srt 4669x:1.11p to 1.30p) on that package without dongle, dvb card or CS, then other stations may be opened. Has anybody ever tried CANALSAT FRANCE keys or any other CANAL keys? They re mostly viaccess and most of the package are also on it. Happy weekend!!!

Srt4930 doesnt come with a built in Lan port just like 4669x and 4669xii. There is an adaptor that turns the RS232 port into a lan port. Using this software and all necessary connections and other software emulators plus internet connection you have CS.

ok. Now am in ur wavelength. Since am not with nile nor hotbird, i think am contented with dstv then. thanks for the info.
