Alchemist01:1.)Check ircc bro they have about 20hotels they recommend for 3days quarantine so you pick your choice you can check Crowne plaza Toronto airport their rates are cheap. 2.) Use Ethiopian airlines for this the rates are different so an estimate would be of no value. Good day everyone am new to this group I got my visa already with a university in Winnipeg but due to the tuition costs I decided to apply for a college in Toronto and got it. My question is this after getting my study permit in Toronto airport with the university can I quarantine 14days in Toronto after then notify ircc and proceed to my college for studies. N.B I read from ircc website you cannot change schools from outside Canada after visa has been Approved. |

ennygal:It's would be quite difficult to get full funded scholarships for an undergraduate studies in Canada especially if it's an international student. As most schools only offer part of the tuition fees as scholarships for the undergraduate studies. Hope this helps. |

Moren002:As the gurus have suggested with my own advice the first step is to do your research okay you wanna apply for an undergraduate or post graduate you definitely know you would apply for visa. What next you go to ircc portal everything is there the requirements to present the proof of funds to show. If you are still not satisfied you can come to nairaland this place is like a Haven for visa information read and read know the requirements as there are sections that list requirements how to write sops everything you need nairaland has it. After arming yourself with information you can know proceed further if you are still not convinced on applying yourself and want to use an agent fine it makes the whole process easier as you can discern if what the agent is telling you makes sense or not if he knows his deal or not. Regarding this issue of agent or no agent am not discriminating them but when an agent tells you things that seems out of the blue to you it is your responsibility to find out and make research if what she says is true or not. I have a female friend she applied to University of Manitoba and she went to meet an agent today and he told her that it was mandatory for her sponsor to have 50million in the account and hers 10million, on top of that she said immigration now mandates IELTS exams without that one won't be able to enter border. Was like what, is this is there another ircc requirements I don't know of, so please let's be guided as to avoid unnecessary ban or denial as this can affect one not only physically but mentally. Am not discriminating agents but the bad ones has stained that sector which makes it impossible to discern good ones. so if you are using an agent please research the whole requirements first even if it's a tiny bit of information it could go a long way. And again if you pay an agent a huge amount don't leave everything to him continue to research come to an agreement with him to release your gckey and password to you monitor it yourself to avoid any information that could deal a fatal blow. My agent labeled me Mr inquisitive cause I was researching checking myself and all he never checked it but I thank God all went well. information is unlimited and we can all successfully call ourself mini agents cause some has successfully applied and been given some still need agents not because they don't know how to apply but because they need someone to interact with physically and willing to give them their time through out the process. Finally do your research first irrespective of agents or not and I am positive that those who have applied or waiting for a positive response would get it by God's grace. Hope this helps. 4 Likes |

Olanrewajuluke1:Ircc has special hospitals that they recommend for medical exams 2 of which I know are among in Nigeria namely: IOM AND QLIFE So if you didn't undergo medicals in any of those two mentioned above you have to do it with either of both. you wait for a request or do upfront it's your choice. |

Here is my timeline 2nd time applicants. Application submission- December 31st NSE request- January 7 Completed nse- February 9 Submission confirmation- February 5 Medical request- March 2 Medical passed -april 7 Ppr and correspondence Letter-april 21 About documents I thought I was lacking in some areas just highschool transcripts some affidavits Birth certificates declaration letter. Recommendation letter. I thought payment of fees was was a criteria but I thank God he helped me achieve this and I pray those still awaiting ppr this week would favor you all. Psychosocial:Good day @psychosocial am in the same situation as you did biometrics 2yrs ago and am currently awaiting ppr, but I also can't find my biometrics slip. Some suggested to me that if ppr comes I can print out the whole information from my gckey the section that lists all information on my biometrics and uci number. Someone suggested on this platform that you get in touch with a VFS agent to explain your situation, I already sent you a private message to connect with you as I would like to get in touch to know the outcome and how you were able to scale through it. emmalextemtop:. First of all download the flywire app on Google play store then make sure your school is affiliated with flywire if it is you would see it on the list of schools that uses flywire as a payment option. Its not an advise tho but flywire rates are killing to Nigerian students. |

Micholo5:Yes community colleges offer scholarship's to international student and no sat is not necessarily needed just your high school transcripts and waec results. It really depends on the program you are going for as different colleges in Canada has different approach to each programs so try to research your program and which province and college is best suited for you. doubleazy:Good day mr/Mrs doubleeazy If you can't fulfil both of the NSE requirement I suggest you leave your application and wait for it to be processed the normal way after 30days. Writing a letter would not make the vo consider your application, and fulfilling the NSE request is not a guarantee, as people get visas without NSE of which am sure you will in regard of whatever route you choose. Juliomikeal:No one can really advise you on what schools to choose it all boils down to what you want 1.)first sit yourself down and ask your self what you want to study and how it would help you. 2.) This is the most vital point make strong reserch on schools.I researched the whole schools in Canada for undergraduate studies from college to universities from college to universities. So take time to research and tailor it to your suite. 3.) Always check their tuition fees if it's something you can afford and always make sure to convert it to naira equivalent. 4.) Check the admission requirements some only require waec while some needs you to undergo certain exams e.g IELTS, TOEFL, SAT. ETC. 5.) put in your application for admission when you have met or surpassed the requirements and be prayerful and hopeful. If you follow all this you would not have problems getting admission and make sure to apply early at least 7months before your start date to give adequate room for visa application. All the best. |

But just as the gurus suggested get your gcms note to shine more light on the reasons for rejection then we can know what next. |
