Domaining101:
You have someone who is willing to give you 5 million naira in this present economy and the person asks you to choose between using the money to sponsor your education in a PRIVATE university for 5 years or use the money to start up any business of your choice. Assuming you are in your early 20's say 20-23 and considering the current situation of things in Nigeria, which of these options would you pick and why?
Bringing this here showcases you to be as insensitive as, if not more, than 10 Betty Akeredolu and 12 Siju Iluyomade combined. Now we know who you are!

It is well. The operations of witch Siju Iluyomade in RCCG is finally put to and end hopefully. Here husband is married to her and only death can do them part. Imagine a Pastor's wife who claimed to be born again inviting flavour to provide entertainment in the celebration of her 60th birthday! Effectively she was thanking the devil for her life! Sad that it took Herbie's death to showcase her demonic inclination and free RCCG leaders from the bondage of her bewitchment overtime!

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Expresses Sadness Over Ochanja Market Building Collapse In Onitsha by zoedew: 7:00am On Feb 28
DamnnNiggarr:
shocked

It was really a very gory sight to behold.
The incidence occured at exactly 08:45 PM, yesterday, and I was just passing by.

The one that wrecked my heart completely was the cry of a man that was trapped, crying for help, but the building's deadload was just too much for our punny strength to overcome.

I couldn't stand the sight and cries of those trapped as I immediately left the scene, I didn't know what later happened to them.

For the safety of the general public,
it's about time the government swung into action to address building collapses in Nigeria, which requires a comprehensive approach that involves multiple stakeholders, just like my Boss pointed out above. The government must, especially number 7, enforce strict compliance to these possible solutions below, viz.

1. Implement strict building codes and regulations to ensure that construction projects adhere to safety standards. Regular inspections and monitoring are crucial in this regard.

2. Improve oversight of construction projects by requiring licensed professionals such as Quantity Surveyors, Architects and Engineers to be involved in the cost management, design and supervision of buildings.

3. Educate the public about the importance of building safety and the dangers of cutting corners during construction. Empower citizens to report substandard construction practices.

4. Enhance the capacity of regulatory bodies and local authorities to enforce building regulations effectively. This may involve training programs, resource allocation, and technology adoption.

5. Provide technical support to builders and developers to ensure they have the knowledge and resources to construct safe buildings.

6. Develop and implement emergency response plans to swiftly respond to building collapses, including search and rescue operations.

7. Hold accountable those responsible for negligence or violation of building regulations to deter future incidents.

8. Foster collaboration among government agencies, construction industry stakeholders, academia, and the community to collectively work towards ensuring building safety.
Public historians will do well to examine Anambra State public records to see what Peter Obi did in that regard when he was governor.

Both religions are noisy.

Can we just call on our individual creators without bothering one another like they do in saner climes? Must everything be barbaric in our home country?
The third one is noisier than the other two! And dirtier too!! When they start the drumming and incantation and animal sacrifice in calabashes they irritate me.
Politics / Re: Lagos Government Prohibits Public Address System For Religious Purposes by zoedew: 6:46am On Feb 28
Other States will do well to follow suit. Presently the noise of the muezzin is disturbing my sleep . Daily he starts about 5am from about 3 or 4 of his buildings scattered around my place. In contrast in Abuja his call is dulled and not loud enough to wake you up if you are not expecting him.

Politics / Nigerian Politicians Emulate Angela Merkel Former Head Of State Of German. by zoedew: 11:17am On Feb 27
In 16 years of power, Angela Merkel did not appoint any of her relatives to a state position.

Germany said goodbye to its leader, physicist and quantum chemist, who was not tempted by fashion or lights and did not buy real estate, cars, yachts and private jets. They came out on their balconies and clapped for 6 minutes, a standing ovation across the country.

She leaves and her loved ones claim no benefits.

For sixteen years, she never changed the style of her wardrobe. At a press conference, a journalist asked Merkel: ''We realize that you are wearing the same suit, don't you have another?» She replied: «I am a civil servant, not a model.»

In another press conference, they asked her: "Do You have a housemaid cleaning your house, preparing food, etc." Her response was: "No, I have no servants or need them. My husband and I do this work every day at home."

Then another journalist asked: "Who is doing the laundry, you or your husband?" Her response was: "I'm fixing the clothes and my husband is the one who runs the washing machine."

Ms. Merkel lives in a normal apartment like any other citizen. She lived in this apartment before being elected Chancellor of Germany. She did not leave it and she does not own a single villa, houses, pools, gardens.

Angela Merkel, the chancellor of Europe's largest economy, will always remain a great example of leadership, driven by values, selfless principles, facts and empathy.

Angela is truly a role model, if only more leaders are like her!

He never claimed it as governor.
Alex has been involved in this project long before governorship.
He was the CEO of diamond bank when the bank invested millions of dollars in the project, that was the first external funding the plant ever had.
So, it's not even just political for him, it's both financial and economic as well as personal.
He has been following the project ever since then.
As a governor, he helped solve the logistic issues holding the project plus currently building a road leading to it
It takes to be informed and of a sound intellect to make a comment of this kind on this matter! Kudos! Folks who speak differently are either ill informed or intellectually dishonest.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Mahjoub Mahjoubi: France Deports Tunisian Imam Accused Of Hate Speech. by zoedew: 8:09am On Feb 26
A little too late in the day. Medicine after death. Islam is already deeply entrenched in Europe and plans at an advanced stage to Islamise the Continent. By the very nature of the belief system it takes no prisoners! It brooks no dissent!! Once Islam has Europe in its firm grip the goose of the continent is cooked and it is doomed! All those monarchies in Britain et al will become Emirates! Maybe Europe will wake up to reality then! Begum has been begging to return to U.K. as a citizen. She should remain in Syria!

Yes! The FG and the National Assembly are not listening. How can the National Assembly in all good conscience make a corrupt purchase of n160 million per jeep for its oversight function and tell us we don't have a right to protest the hardship in the land? That won't werk!

The hand writing was already on the wall. A house dividedagainst itself can not stand.

The country is too charge for such an undertaken. The government might see it as an affront and attempt to discredit them and import thugs and miscreants to disrupt a peaceful process thereby giving credence to their earlier warnings.

It's in the best interest of NLC to shelve this protest. It will be a "WAR/FIGHT OF BLAME" if they allow sound reasoning to fall on deaf ears and go ahead with the protest.
No! It's not about the number of the protesters but the symbolism. That is why it is planned to be peaceful!

Which is better? Organised peaceful protests or spontaneous demonstrations and protesting in which you don't know who to talks to and negotiate with?

Nlc actually have the right to protest even though we know the protest may not change much under the balablu government.
It will change much should NLC go ahead with the nationwide protests. Have you stopped to ask yourself why the strike is the only thing the FG, National Assembly, Conscienceless Traditional leaders and Lame Afenifere Leaders are worried about and going about shamelessly to stultify? It is because they know the strike and protests can change much! Economic gains and growth so far achieved at the expense of the misgoverned majority of Nigerian citizens will go up in 🔥 and the society will become more strident in its demand for good governance! This is not about party politics or tribal sentiments!
