I've noticed that Google maps of the SE, particularly Imo and Anambra are beginning to look like one single city. It makes sense because anyone who has driven this segment of the region knows you will not see where one town ends and the other begins
High population density is responsible for that. The land mass even if equitably distributed is not sufficient to accommodate the population. One reason why the Igbo are largely diasporan.

Sound, upright and trustworthy Judge. Bail conditions are not meant to be punitive. If Adebutu indeed committed the offence and same is well proven he is off to the rabbit hole! That Judge cannot be bought!! He is incorruptible!!!

.my own advice to anyone that wants to buy a car is.......can u afford the engine and gear when they decide to show u pepper.?

.....is250 engine shouldn't be less than 800k... Gear seff na die.....

. All other parts na small change..like 40k, 70k, 25k, 150k...
It's an expensive car to drive around in. Maintenance could turn you into an auto mechanic as you want to do it yourself when the costs take their toll on you and that is where you come by a competent mechanic!

The same professor is the returning officer of Enugu governorship election.

He doesn't know one's actions can make you lose respect. He even went further to enforce the "no school fees no exams" policy himself.

A professor that doesn't know the impact of a carry over/spill over on the students wants them to keep quiet while he chases them out.

Smart leaders don't take their leadership roles too personal.

He wants to show that he is a strong man. There is a limit people can show respect, not when you push them to the wall.

Nigeria's education system has become a mess. In many situations, you will even pay for something in the school and struggle so hard to collect it. Sometimes you have to go regularly to the office.

Very messed up place.
Most unfortunate. Disappointing that a Professor cannot run an institution in a seamless manner.

Poor delegation skills. Poor strategic thinking on the part of the VC. He was not supposed to be doing the rounds he embarked upon. The school certainly has Principal officers that could do that for who the VC takes responsibility in case they are attacked by the students as it later turned out. The Fed Min. of Education will blame him for putting himself in harm's way. Generals don't get captured or injured in battle. They keep the rear!

If these things happen to you biological parents, will you post what you typed here?
My parents were not unconscionable fellows. My Father was sick on the job and left the office for someone else when it was apparent he could not carry on. He did not coverup his infirmity to perpetuate himself in office for pecuniary reasons and to the disadvantage of the public he served. That is what good people do. That is what King Charles III did. He did not overheat the system nor sought to deceive the public unlike the folks you ostensibly sympathise with. This is not about sentiments but to do what is right for the good of the people. My answer is that in the unlikely event it happened to my biological parents you can expect the same post from me. So long!

King Charles III openness about his cancer diagnosis is an invaluable one. A positive approach to illness. He did not keep an airplane on the ground for like an eternity and at a great expense to the public till nor was he kept in a polythene bag drying up like stock fish just to remain in office or worse still doing round trips to and fro France conducting "private visits"! Wonder why they hide their health issues thus overheating the polity!!! Human frailty is an undeniable fact of life.

All that matters is that it is merit based. To say otherwise will be discriminating against the said persons on the ground of the circumstances of their birth and that would be infringing on there fundamental right as enshrined in the Nigerian Constitution .

The wrong set of people have ruled us for too long largely because those who have the ability to run Nigeria well do not vote at the elections and leave the process to folks who are least suitable or competent to run our government at all levels in Nigeria.
