He definitely made some sense, reason some are still skeptical about Obi is the threat of Biafra and the known hatred of Hausas and Yorubas by some elements within the Igbo community. Once people realize these threats are no longer imminent, the idea of Obi becomes easier to swallow especially in the North. It's not fair but it's the truth, on normal circumstances a candidate with Obi's pedigree would have no problem being loved in the North if he was a Yoruba or Fulani.
