PoliticsRe: Anambra Approves Construction of New Govt. House, Three Arms Zone and Judiciary by Zonacom(m): 8:09pm On Nov 28, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: Where is all these money (cool cash) coming from? Finally, he has decided to build the Awka section of Enugu-Onitsha road. It was a major issue at the debates leading to the gubernatorial election. Good news but I wonder how that will work since FG is still on the road.

I'm also glad that with Obiano as governor elect, atleast wherever Peter Obi stops, he'll continue from there. Nothing kills developing countries more than policies inconsistency and lack of continuity. It is worse or atleast as bad as corruption. At the federal level, there are currently more than 17,000 abandoned projects.
On point bro. Thats the second main reason why i dont want ngige near the govt house. Cos aside from his being desperate, he probably would abandon all of obi's ongoing projects and go on a wild goose chase.
Should obiano maintain this tempo after being sworn, the face of anambra would change.
PoliticsRe: Anambra Approves Construction of New Govt. House, Three Arms Zone and Judiciary by Zonacom(m): 8:05pm On Nov 28, 2013
Nice projects. But what is the time frame for the various projects?
PoliticsRe: Anambra Approves Construction of New Govt. House, Three Arms Zone and Judiciary by Zonacom(m): 7:58pm On Nov 28, 2013
jerseyboy: Misplaced priorities. The people will be poorer for it. Better to spend that money building infrastructures in onithsha and other commercial cities that will creat wealth.
Always complaining. I'm sure you are among the type complaining that Awka is a village, anambra is so disorganized and so on. Now the man wants to modernise things a little and you are complaining again

Nnewi1stSon: gringringrin Chino, inasmuch as i hate beef between the both of us.... I cant help but say the truth most times.
I hated Obi the day he backstabbed my candidate(Soludo), to add insult to injury he went to Lagos to bring a bleached out confused political neophyte, who judging by his body chemistry it's just too obvious he isnt prepared for the Job nor interested in it.
To add a slap on the face, the dude has lived all his life in Lagos,( inotherwords Obi is insinuating that Anambrarians resident in Anambra are 'incapable' of governing the state).
Knowing fully well that campaigning on his achievements(which are quite meagre) wouldnt give his candidate much chances, he resorted to cheap blackmail(Labelling Ngige a tinubu agent) and went wild on a spending spree(distributing money to Churches and political bigwigs).
Conniving with PDP to rig the elections!
Chino, friendship apart, i DONT like OBI neither do i Like his puppet OBIANO!

And as to my Admission in Unizik which you're threatening.... I've got a newsflash for you..... By January Godwilling i'll be off to Shenhen Medical University in China to Study Pharmacy(via Scholarship). So, if you do see me in Awka, just know i came to holla @ my friends @ Unizik.
D'alu so cool
Nna eh, your hate for obi no get part 2 o. Obiano's uncharismatic appearance is not important, his ability is. Obi annoyed us all by striking soludo out, but should we allow a very desperate ngige to become governor because we want to punish obi? What becomes of the senatorial seat when ngige leaves it? Another re-run right? Lets not sacrifice our collective interest on the alter of revenge.
And its even good that obiano is already getting himself familiarized with the office he is about to occupy judging from his movements of late.
About chino, don't mind that guy, he is just a funny clown.
Congrats on your scholarship. As they say; when one door closes, another opens. Meanwhile you got to be sure the stuff is real, a lot of Awka guys have lost good money in search of overseas studies.

Obiagelli: Following the recent development which will serve as a big blow to theruling PDP and the ambition of President Goodluck Jonathan to return to office in the 2015 elections now brings to 18 the total number of states under the control of APC leaving the PDP with only 14 states, Labour Party 1 and APGA 1.
So thats all that matter? Rustling power from Gej and PDP. Same thieves; no difference whatsoever.
Theres no population to spend the money on. Its only 1.764 million registered voters in the entire state.
You keep bringing this your stupid population ish every now and then. Why are you obsessed with anambra?
PoliticsRe: Obi Grants Seventy Million Naira Intervention Fund To Farmers by Zonacom(m): 8:59am On Nov 26, 2013
Nnewi1stSon: Oh God! Why did you curse my state with such a clueless buffon? Where in the world do politicians dish out money like santa claus? Obi has dolled out more than 20 billion since late last year( to churches,Schools, traditional rulers,e.t.c) meanwhile such huge amount could have been put to better use.
1, while give ANSU(now COOU) #5B when most courses in the schools are not accredited by the NUC? Why not try and secure accreditation for them 1st?( i know some people will blab that the money(#5B) will be used to achieve that, but that money to me is nothing but a greek gift.
2, The 'Teaching hospital' he built in Awka looks like one local Gov't funded clinic!
3, the rural roads he built are some of the worst done roads i have ever seen in my life, most have started eroding just after the 1st rains!
4, trying to cause enmity between Catholics and Anglicans, Anambra's senatorial zones et al.
Peter obi should just round up his tenure and carry his curse back to his business in maza maza! angry
On the contrary bro, obi's style of donating money to schools and hospitals management for projects in the institution is yielding positive results. Even the world bank hailed this aproach and is set to use this system in their interventions too. I bet you dont know better than the world bank. Moreover, this donations are usually done in the full glare of the public such that the school/hospital managements would be held responsible by the communities should the projects fail to be implemented.

About creating division between the catholic and anglican church. The truth is that problems have existed between these two groups even long before obi came into power. I think the governor should even be commended for his efforts in bringing the two groups together by carrying both parties along in his activities. Since the state govt returned public schools to the rightful owners, hardly would you hear the governor making any donations in any town without including schools/hospitals belonging to both groups.

So, inno nwannem nwoke, dont just judge a man blindly. I am not an obi supporter, but i am not an obi hater too. I just try to be objective.
About the quality of roads, obi has got it wrong there no doubt.

Kemy11: Where d hell is the op. Better come and complete what u started. I hate mmadu i mem akpili ogologo. But i dont like ur perspective about Anambra ppl.
I dont like what he wrote about Anambra people too cos i'm from anambra but unfortunately its raw truth. Most Anambrarians have this superiority complex whenever they are dealing with their fellow igbos outside igbo land mostly. They usually see themselves as more igbo than other igbo states. Even within Anambra, some towns feel they are more clever than others. My town, ozubulu, shares boundary with nnewi; we are very close and share things in common but nnewi people feel they are far more clever than us. Infact there is this old saying they coined in igbo language which they normaly use to belitle us.
So, chill bro. Zuby is on point about the anambra thing, though not everybody from anambra thinks thesame way.
Voter registration is a sneak peek of manpower. You are looking at the data, for most part, of people capable of employment and production and will generate most of the indices to measure social growth - IGR, GDP, gender representation, diversity and civic awareness.

If 4million is your estimate for full participation and currently you are performing below 50% it goes to show that more than 50% Anambra people are still illiterate on civic responsibilities and rights and the political leaders in that state are selected by the minority.

The political standard and flagstaff of Ibo nation ought to reside in Imo state where almost 75% of the people are conversant and participate actively in their choice for public administrators.

Regionally, Imo State is politically ahead of Anambra.
No problem bro. Imo state is politically ahead of Anambra indeed. Countering you will only derail and i dont want to do that
