jumobi1: You disrespect US law enforcement by comparing it with Nigeria's. They don't collect bribe like Nigerians do over here. Look at what's happening to the Nigerian Justices. Jungle justice is easy to criticize but their hands may have been forced. We need to be objective. If government doesn't fight corruption, innocent lives will sadly be lost at the hand of jungle justice because law enforcement doesn't enforce. cowards and murderers! so jungle justice is reserved only for the thief on the streets? for the hungry thief who stole 50naira worth of bread(cuz people have been murdered for even less on the streets of Nigeria)... jungle justice is reserved only for the thief who stole a unit of phone...the same phone someone in China bought 10 units of it for his fvcking dog!? Nigerians are eternally fvcked up! |

I remember a Wailer complaining this week that Zahra should leave Aso Rock and go find work; a Catch 22 for Buhari, cos should she have work immediately after her university, the father would be accused of influencing the situation while millions of graduates are roaming the streets for years. it is either there is no truth and honesty in you or you are downright incapable of logic and reasoning.. how can you compare a man who shat on our budding democracy with the barrel of a gun with a man who was actually voted in by thousands of people?? a lot of Nigerians are unbelievable! 5 Likes |

Buhari never established or managed any successful business despite his huge earnings all his life from Nigeria. this is one of the top 3 reasons why I never took that man serious..for 30 fvcking years this man took all he could from Nigeria and NEVER gave anything back, not even to his community daura..he kept getting money as a former head of state who came to power illegally through a coup and yet not even one recorded act of philanthropy from him( I dare anyone to prove me wrong on this part)..he couldn't improve himself socially, educationally and financially for 30 fvcking years and some sellouts decided to impose him upon Nigerians (after previously rejecting him for 3 elections)..what a fvcked up country. |

Now I know that these brainwashed lots are not only shallow spiritually, their IQ is subliminal. That's why they are prone to manipulation. No offence intended, please.
Only slowpokes would find it hard to understand that the missionaries laid the foundation of western education in Nigeria. And that in itself is commendable. That's the beginning of the people coming to God and to civilization.
Back off, please, your cognition cannot handle this subject matter.
Smh. arsewipe, and you ended up not answering my question.. halfwits like you litter everywhere with your pseudo intelligence, polluting the society with your crude and mannerless attitude.. crawl back to the cesspit from whence you came from.... and stay there. |

DeHEIGHTS: And when has Oral Roberts school or USA become the Christian standard.? The Bible is my standard. The first missionaries that came to Nigeria with western education made it accessible, cheap, affordable, and sometimes free for indigent students.
All these pastors benefited from it. How much was school fees when Bro. Oyedepo was in Kwara Polytechnic? If the fees was this relatively high, would he have tasted education?
Churches should come up with broad based educational policy that's affordable, accessible and cheap so that many people can benefit from it.
Education was a major window, a giant tool of evangelism back in the days. Many people came to School, knew about Christ, and embraced Him. These sets of pastors seem not to remember that the number one purpose of Christian schools is to reach out to souls. If you shut them out with high fees, I now wonder the purpose.
Those people they inadvertently shut out of school by their actions or inactions, will some day constitute touts, menace, nuisance to the society.
That's the point they seem not to get. this has become rather hackneyed.. how many universities did the missionaries build in Nigeria? how many?? how many students were able to attend the phantom universities these missionaries built? tell me that university in Nigeria that was built by the missionaries.. |

DarkRebel101: Is it because Sëun is an atheist that lackluster and generic Christian topics flood the fp every Sunday?
Where are the mentally-stimulating and open-ended topics?
If you aren't moving bobby-dazzlers and topics with lots of talking points to the fp, then stop insulting Christians with the damp squibs you keep moving to fp -- it's as if the Mod(s) in charge moves any kind of topic just to fulfill all righteouness.
...
Our Muslim brothers and sisters have brilliant topics grace the fp every Friday; plus you can't even comment in their sect without agreeing to accept Allah first, but they can whizz in and out of ours anytime they want.
This is nothing but pure injustice, and this trend has been going on for a while now. I'm not surprised, though -- after all, our so-called leaders always have always tilted the scales in favour of Islam ever since the inception of this contraption called Nigeria.
Maybe all Christians should boycott Nairaland for a week, because it seems all of our pleas have been falling on deaf and indignant ears. you noticed right? even the unsuspecting 'Christian' will indulge in the act of ridiculing their faith to get 'likes'....but fret not, the Gospel has been subjected to worse over the centuries...it still stands strong. |

dejilg: now please show me the quote u just alluded to that I tried to twist.....if u will allow me remind u that u brought up the issue of "treasurer"
secondly u argued Christ was rich on earth and now u have retracted and only claimed He was influential (whatever that meant in ur world....cos He was being sought for by most just to be killed)
the statement about the colt is meant to be a joke right? getting something free doesn't amount to having the financial capability to buy it....dont confuse the 2.....
the 12 disciples couldn't even acquire a tomb after he was killed....
Jesus had no earthly riches as it can be seen clearly in the Bible and hence ur prosperity gospel falls flat on its face No YOU show me where I said Christ was rich on earth...I bet you can't do that cuz you will see that what I said instead was that even though he didn't need the riches of this earth he was by no means poor man.. (He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and having charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it. john 12:6)........this is Judas who was the disciple's treasurer..if they had no money, from which money Judas come dey steal from?? your last paragraph, my point still remains that Christ could get virtually ANYTHING he wanted because people were willing to give them to him..be it money, or donkeys or horses..but he didn't need them for his purpose...zaccheus a wealthy tax collector was overjoyed to host him in his house...that is a man with influence and power! a man who could have gotten any worldly thing he wanted but didn't.. Christ was never a poor man EOD. |

dejilg: hahahaha....u made me laugh hard.....now answer these if Christ had bought the ass/colt/donkey with the money (out of this riches you claim he had), would that prophecy not be fulfilled? ---- read my previous reply again
so the military only sought rich men? ---- can I get another one? you are really trying hard to twist my initial posts, but you aren't trying hard enough...I said even though Christ didn't need the riches of this earth, he was by no means a poor man! he was a carpenter by profession, he had tax collectors and fishermen as loyal disciples..in what galaxy did I say military men sought Christ because he was rich? another failed attempt at derailing the initial topic? I said Christ was influential so much so that a military general had to meet him for a favour (to heal his girl)..religious leaders sought him out in the dark of the night( refer to Nicodemus) to get wisdom.. if he wanted to buy a colt or a horse, he would have gotten it free of charge.. heck he 'borrowed' the colt he used with absolute authority.. "tell the owner that the master needs it" Luke 19:31.. |

dejilg: *covers face* did that prophecy say that he had to borrow it? and normally would a King ride on a colt/ass/donkey? wouldn't it be a horse? so the humility is in riding the colt/ass/donkey not that because it was borrowed.... so if u knew the Bible like u claim....u'd know what a King shld ride on....either borrowed or nor!!! get another defence joor classic defense to a superior point...you wanted to use Christ riding a donkey as a sign of being poor..I showed you the error in that by pointing out that he did it to fulfill the prophecy given to Zechariah by God..Christ was very influential he could have gotten a horse to ride into Jerusalem if he wanted...even officers in the military sought him for help... |
