It works well with Airtel BCM, ensure you set the security (WEP Key) on you bb and apply same on your Laptop. It is as fast as bullet. |
Well, that amounts to nothing compare to what Farouk Lawan and his gangs are doing to this country. |
amblors: Lol @ just only a phone. If u were importing a nokia torch fone u obviously won't pay import duty. They normally charge for phones that cost above a certain amount. That's the disadvantage of using courier Companies tho. If there's som1 u trust, always cheaper to give the person to bring over. Thanks |

I just updated BB Bold 5 software and had an added option of using my bb as mobile hotspot. It can give internet access to 5 systems via wifi. |
I want to belief this information would be useful to someone out there. Though, I am experiencing it for the first time. My car performed well until I branched at a filling station to refuel. After buying the fuel, the car just refused to start, I was just wondering what could happen to the car, I asked the attendant to help push it aside. While waiting for the day to break because it was around 5.30 a.m, an official of the filling station came to great me. However, I noticed the filling station was shut down, they closed their gate and saw them opening their underground tank, brought in pumping machine, it never occurred to me what could cause this action. But, as I said earlier, the man that came to great me asked me if my car has been doing this before and I told him no, he opened up to me that I should bear with them, that they noticed water to be in the tank I bought fuel from. He apologized on behalf of the Station management and told me they would refuel my car after it is being drained. I did not get angry with them because if he had not told me, I wouldn't have known the fault is theirs. All car owner should be aware of this in order to know where the problem lies. Merry Christmas to you all. |
It's just only one phone |

Thank you. |

Experts in the House, to buttress further on my initial post directed to Justwise, I am planning to apply for Family Visiting Visa for my wife and our daughter. She's to go on the invitation of her brother in-law for Easter Holiday. I am to sponsor the trip while her brother in-law who own a permanent resident visa is to accommodate them. Here is my status, I have been with organisation A since for some years where I earn 50k, march last year, I am seconded to Organisation B which is a baby to Organisation A but affiliated to UNESCO on a 2 year contract of 100k per month while I am still retain my responsibilities and position at Organisation A in addition to responsibilities at Organisation B. (1) I own a property with construction ongoing even my wife's name is on the Deed of assignment of the property though we were still dating then now we are married with a kid. (2) I have PFA Statement with Balance of like 200k. (3) Money comes in and out of my account often cos I does buying and selling, the balance as at today is around 120k. (4) I just bought a car of almost 900k about 3 months ago for family use. I have another 2 cars on ground for sale at the moment, I bought them from UK with their BoL's in my name and my Home address. Now my question, going by what I have as my current account balance, I am sure it is not enough to present but on the issue of avoiding lump sum in my account, these cars could be sold any moment from now and the money goes into my account. What am I supposed to do in terms of an account to present, I do not have a registered coy. I will appreciate your kind further on necessary documents to support my wife and daughter's applications as my wife is not working. Her brother Inlaw is taking care of their stay in UK while I provide only the flight tickets and possible sort them like 1k pounds to hold as pocket money. |
@ Justwise, I do not understand the type of tax you're talking about. I do not have a registered company, it is just a partnership between me and my friend who reside in UK and double as a british citizen. We import our goods through Lagos port. |
@ Justwise Your kind advise is humbly solicited. I am about applying for a visiting visa for my wife and our daughter (1yr4months). I earn 100k per month and work with UNESCO affiliated organisation. My own role is just to provide their travel tickets, accommodation and feeding would be taken care of by their host. I have in/out flows of transaction in my account. I have a UK based friend that i partner with to buy cars loaded with electronics from UK, this year alone, i had bought 3 cars from UK with the Bill of Laden (BoL) my name and another one to come in before the year runs out. My wife is not working yet, I just want them visit UK for like 2-3 months and visit my friends in UK as well. Please, what is the chances of this application and I also want to ask if these BoLs can also be included in her application to show my business dealing in UK. Telecoms Regulator Reaches,Fines Deal With Phone Companies Nigeria’s mobile-phone companies reached an agreement to pay fines set last month by the national telecommunications regulator for failing to meet minimum service standards. The payments will probably be made within the next week, Tony Ojobo, a spokesman for the Abuja-based Nigerian Communications Commission, said by phone. He didn’t say if the companies would pay all of the 1.17 billion naira ($7.2 million) total set on May 11 and the additional charges of 2.5 million naira a day after the May 21 deadline. “The service providers have given their commitment that services are going to improve because substantial investments are going to be made,” said Ojobo. MTN Group Ltd. (MTN), the largest operator in Africa’s top oil producer, and Emirates Telecommunications Corp. (ETISALAT), known as Etisalat, were each fined 360 million naira, while Bharti Airtel Ltd. (BHARTI) was given a 270 million naira penalty and Globacom Ltd. was charged 180 million naira, the commission said May 11. MTN and Etisalat cited lack of power and sabotage as reasons for poor connections and dropped calls. “We had a most constructive meeting with the NCC in Abuja last night and reached agreement on the key issues,” Brett Goschen, chief executive officer of MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd., said in an e-mailed reply to questions today. “We expect to finalize the full agreement by the end of the week including the issue of the payment of the fines.” While Emeka Oparah, a spokesman for Airtel’s Nigerian unit, confirmed the companies and the NCC reached an agreement, he said he couldn’t immediately provide details of the accord in a phone interview today. Chineze Amanfo, a spokeswoman for Etisalat’s Nigeria operation, said that all the company executives met the regulator yesterday, though she couldn’t confirm the deal. MTN is investing $1.4 billion in Nigeria this year to improve infrastructure and capacity, according to Goschen. Etisalat on May 12 said it will spend more than $500 million on its network. MTN runs two diesel generators at each of its network sites that provide as much as 80 percent of its needs, Goschen said in a May 17 interview. Power cuts occur daily as demand for electricity is almost double the supply. Shutdowns by various government and state agencies for levies and taxes, along with an Islamist militant insurgency in the north of the country, have also hindered repairs and building of new sites, he said. Mobile-phone subscribers in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation of more than 160 million people, reached more than 133 million by April, according to data compiled by the NCC. MTN has 42.8 million users, Globacom has 20.8 million, Airtel has 18.6 million and Etisalat accounts for 11.9 million. A switchboard operator for Globacom didn’t have contact details for a company spokesman and an e-mail sent to the company’s corporate care address wasn’t immediately answered. |
I am totally disappointed. Where are we going in this country? those we relied on to save us are the ones selling us. God, show thy mercy on this Nation. Can't BH help to bomb them all? God......God..... I am weeping for this country called Nigeria. When a President is a thief, what do we expect of his cabinet members......Jonathan....you are a bad luck to this nation. |

I learn driving with RHD car and never brake any light. I converted it and drove it for 3 years as my first car without any issue. I had no issue with RHD car at all, those that did the conversion could convert anything from RHD to LHD. I am not joking at all. |
Fellow Nairalanders, my question is buttress on how long and what distance one could drive a write hand care in Nigeria because the FRSC Official does not even listen that you just clear this vehicle upon showing all the documents and having paid your duty to the purse of the Federal Government who in the first instance allow this vehicle into the country. I believe, there should be permissible period and distance this vehicle could go (intra state) before being converted. Please, what is your take on this? is there a law guiding it? Is FRSC just exploiting people? |
