M Bisolar: Hi everyone! Good work here. I have sort of become a UK visa expert thanks to you guys. Justwise! Welledone! I remember how kind you were to me last year. Now I usually feel like a guru when I help people out lol..
Just a few questions based on what I noticed when I helped my boss apply last week. What's with this teleperformance new 18k payment for submitting at Ikeja? This people think say 18k easy like that for some paltry emails (about 4 or 5 in total) from teleperformance basically telling him the progress of his application. I mean it was cool and all to know what's up with the visa application but was it worth 18k? Coz I know they also used to send emails before so what's new? We tried using VI but all the dates for June except one was booked and his travel date was in June so we had to hurry. Appointment booking for Ikeja was pretty easy sha. Though Ikeja self was jam packedon the submission date.
Secondly, My boss submitted last week Monday and got a mail that it had been assessed yesterday(Monday) and a mail for collection today? First time traveller. Isn't that a bit fast? Just a week. I pray it's not a rejection oh. pls tell me your experiences.
Thanks guys! @ Poster, Time frame has nothing to do with granting or rejection. I felt the same during my application. It happened just within 7 days and was even invited for an interview within the period and my visa was granted. Many thanks to Justwise for giving me audience. |

B justwise: That is actually a good thing, you will have the opportunity to clarify things if there is something missing in your application.
Their questions will central around the conference, your company and job, basically information you entered into the application form.
As long as you completed the form yourself you will be fine. Hi Justwise, The interview held today and it was as simple as you told me. Many thanks for your guide. I await final decision in 5 to 7 days as told by my interviewer. I hope for the best. Thanks you and God bless. |

I need information on procedure, type of visa and cost to relocate my wife and 2 kids to the U.S. Please avail me information and what to do and how to go about it.
Thank you. |

justwise: 1. Yes you can file all the application in one envelop but you have to apply individually the same day so as to get the same submission date.
2. Your office can give each person a copy of the reference letter or make a photocopy of one for each applicant
3. Same with Q 2
4. Yes you can do that.
5. Not necessarily but your salary account and payslip need to be included, including other materials you mentioned will not harm your application.
The most important aspect here is the space for additional info in the form, use that to explain that you are attending a conference with your colleagues sponsored by your company and mention names of those your colleagues traveling with you, each person need to do the same so as to link the applications, giving conflicting info in the form will not help your application. You and your colleagues need to seat together and do the application so as to provide the same info. Apart from your personal details all other info will be the same including cost of the trip and how much available for the trip. Dear Justwise, Many thanks for your audience. Hope I have not been asking too much? Just for confirmation. 1. All is set to fill the form, Visa letter from the conveiner of conference is at hand now, they initially told us it would take up to 10 days to process it but release in a day. 2. The hotel has also sent receipt for our accommodation (All expenses paid by our employer) 3. Just to be sure, do I need to explain the last 3 deposits in my salary account which amounted to my account balance? (i) My May Salary. (ii) online transfer for the payment of phone sold to someone (55k) which was stated (iii) Transfer of almost 300k from my boss showing his name as appears in most of the document we will be submitting. The money is the refund of accumulated out of pocket expenses on his personal errands. 4. I have another savings account with the balance of almost 200k but has history of large inflow and outflow of cash in the last six months I.e 600k, 1m, 400k just coming in and going out for personal PP. 4. How do I explain or put all this together in my application. 5. My salary is 116k. The trip is all expenses paid by our employer with DTA of 250USD per day. The event is event is 5 days and was stated in the visa letter sent to us by the organizer and 5 days hotel room paid but we want to stay 2 more days to explore the city. How do we put this in the online form ( entry date and exit date) Thank you so much. |

WOCKHARDI: It is not as if Nigeria's problems started with Jonathan and will end with Jonathan. It started from 1960 and may likely continue after Buhari. Each Nigerian leader has his own share of our development and our failures. Singling out one particular administration for probe will definitely be a witch hunt. You probe Jonathan and leave Obasanjo et al ? We're watching. Why do you people reason like this? Even if it started years ago, must you wished it to continue just to justify your master's failures. At least, as a patrotic citizens, we must pray this new government succeed because we are tired of being celebrating mediocrity while our future looks blinks. |

philips70: Saw this news and was totally ashamed. That was not a president talking. How did Nigeria get to this level? A president that talks like an uneducated man on Nairaland? I guess he must have been echoing some TANoids who paid him a visit same way he echoed the opinion of 100yrs said by his ADC during the campaigns when he tried to explain how many years GMB was jailing people. A local community association chairman will do better. Government has been on leave for the past 5yrs. You are just noticing? Well my bro, I've known that this man lacks wisdom since he said "I don't give a damn". He doesn't command respect, his words lacks wisdom and weight for someone in his status. That's why we perceived him as weak and clueless. Do you think those words(weak, clueless) fall from heaven and stamped on him just like that? Just listen when Obj talks and compare it with Gej's, you'll understand why Nigeria lost respect in international communities..... |

If I am not including it, is it mandated to mention it that I have another savings account but decided not to include the statement since the trip is strictly official. B zoomzu: The Gurus in the house, your guide is humbly solicited on my application. I was refused U.K visa in 2013. My cousin who is a Briton invited me. All my papers were genuine but was refused on the basis that I did not explain the basis of some fund I deposited in my account towards filling that application. I earn 100k per month. I was investing on housing project then so money don't really stay in my account until towards the filling of the application.
I was given an appeal option but did not bother to appeal because my leave would have lapsed by the time the visa would be given.
Now, my office is sponsoring two Of us to a (5 days conference, all expenses paid by the office including, conference fee, hotel with DTA of 300USDollar per day. My question now is that
1. Are we to put our documents together in one envelope. All payments were made by the office with single receipts with our names jointly written on them for the conference and Hotel.
2. We have combined reference letter from the office.
3. We have single office Bank Statement. 4. Do we need to include photographs of official engagements, group photographs with VIP's we work with. 5. Do we have to include other personal documents (for a married man like me with kids) 6. I have personal savings account apart from my salary account though I do not have much balance in it but huge amount of money comes in and out often for supply business I does.
Please, I need your guide. God bless as you take your time to help. Justwise, please I need your respond. |

zoomzu: Experts in the house, please I need your opinion before embarking on my application. I once denied a U.K visa on a flimsy excuses but could not appeal because my leave would have elapsed by the time the visa would be granted and I was not sure I would be able to travel with the six months period of the visa, at the same time I began my Post Graduate program within that period, that was why I decided not no appeal the refusal which was in 2013.
The case now is that my office is now sending 4 of us to a conference in both UK and U.S, all expenses paid by the office with DTA. The question now is that, I hope the initial refusal won't affect my application this time around?

The Nigerians in SA are there by choice and can leave as whenever they choose to. What will you say to the northern Christians who are killed, abducted, r@ped en masse and have all their property stolen by brain dead Muslim filth? Where do you expect them to go?ll
Leave South Africa matter because on all pars Nigeria is a more savage and injustice place to live. You are a South African parading yourself as a Nigerian. What is happening in Nigeria as well as SA should be condemned by all, not using one to justify the other.
