Thia has happened to me on several occasions, I do not know how their portal is designed, others like Aero and Dana are not like that, if anything happen along the line, others would tell you there was already a transaction going on, do you wish to continue or cancel but Arik will debit you money even you kept click 20 times, they will keep debiting. Last time I had issue similar to this with Aero Contractor, my money was paid back to me in full with several apologies.

Something happened sometime ago, I bought a London ticket for my Boss's son, it happened that Arik changed the flight date which does not comply with the boy's plan because he has to resume in school. We had to buy another ticket though, a mail was sent to us. When I went to Arik to seek for refund or validate the ticket for another trip to U.K. with the option of paying a fine or additional charges, they kept asking me to come today, come tomorrow. I went there for almost 7 times, from Abeokuta to Lagos (N128,000+). To cut the long story short, I got nothing out of all my trips. Arik is a fraud, their staff too are not well taken care off because of what few ones among them I spoke to told me. Arik is not treating their customers well at all.
PoliticsOil Subsidy: What Jonathan Knew About The N1.76trillion Payment? by zoomzu(op): 11:04am On Jan 26, 2012
Oil Subsidy: What Jonathan Knew About The N1.76trillion Payment?

Source: http://247ureports.com/2012/01/oil-subsidy-what-president-jonathan-knew-about-the-n1-76trillion-payment/

Information recently made available to 247ureports.com through sources within the power corridors of the federal capital of Nigeria, Abuja, indicates that there appear jolting intricacies laden within the sudden quantum-like spike in oil subsidy payments to select oil marketers/importers during the period immediately preceeding the presidential elections of April 2011 [February to April 2011] and the period immediately following the said elections [April to August 2011] – which coincided with the arrival of Ngozi Okonjo Iweala as the Finance Minister for the Ministry of Finance in August 17, 2011.

A principal and knowledgeable source within the Jonathan administration indicates that the sudden “quantum-leap” in the payment of oil subsidy payments was not a mistake. “The President knew about it” said the source who explained that fake submissions for oil subsidy payments were approved and disbursements were made – and the monies were used towards financing the President’s election of 2011.

On the afternoon of January 11, 2011, two days to the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] presidential primaries at the Eagles Square in Abuja, the source, pointed to the huge ["staggering"] amount withdrawn from the Central Bank of Nigeria [CBN] for “classified” expenditure. The sum withdrawn, according to the source, was in excess of N150billion.

The money was withdrawn for use against the threat posed by the PDP opponent [Abubakar Atiku] to President Jonathan. Atiku was said to be in a critical race against the president for delegates. The Jonathan campaign had received intelligence the Atiku campaign reached out to 3000 delegates and had disbursed the sum of $3000 to each delegate in exchange for their votes [3000 delegates would give Atiku the victory over Jonathan]. In reaction, the Presidency had to raise immediate ‘cash’ to avert what would appear an embarrassing loss. Within 24hours, the President’s campaign team raised the booty on Atiku – by offering each of the 3000 delegates $7000 in exchange for their votes – an equivalent total of $21million [N3.381billion]. The $7,000 was paid in foreign currency and an additional amount of N250,000 in local currency was handed to each of the 3000 delegates for “hotel and transport” costs – equivalent to a total of N750million. On the night of January 13, 2011, on the day of the PDP presidential primaries, the sum of N4.13billion [N750million + N3.381billion] was disbursed by the Jonathan campaign. And so victory was secured.

Following the victory at the Eagles Square, the President’s campaign re-focused its attention to consultations [taming] with political groups within the North who were unhappy with Jonathan’s candidacy and believed that President Jonathan should have stepped down for a northern candidate – in line with the zoning agreement previously reached by the party. For this, the president’s men made extensive consultations with each of the Emirs in Northern Nigeria and with other leaders of thought in the north. Confidential information available to 247ureports.com reveals that the consultation exercises, by the end of January 2011, cost the President’s campaign an excess of N500million.

The Jonathan campaign took an interesting turn as it entered February 2011. A fleet of private Jets was leased from four major carriers -King Airlines, Wings Aviation, Top Brazz and Overland – for use towards the national campaign. The normal charge for per hour of each aircraft was $6000 per hour – and the Jets operated at 70 hours per week. The Jonathan campaign paid the rate of $10,000 per hour - for the period of 10weeks – equating to an amount of N100million daily – totaling to an equivalent of N10.5billion for the said period.

Then came the February 14, 2011 billionaires meeting where the 28-member Presidential Campaign Council [PCC] was set up at the Eko Hotel in Lagos. The billionaires consisted of Aliko Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga, Elumelu, Jimoh Ibrahim, Emeka Offor, Kasim Bukar, Sayyu Dantata, Jim Ovia and others. And as the PCC which was primarily tasked with raising funds for the campaign began work in February of 2011, the oil subsidy requests for payment also began to experience a quantum leap from the budgeted N245billion to N1.7trillion.

Interestingly, the Petroleum Resources Minister, Mrs Allison Madueke and the Finance Minister, Mrs Okonjo Iweala while testifying before the House of Representative Committee investigating the Oil Subsidy funds management indicated that the amount disbursed as at February 2011 was N245billion – and that begining from March 2011 the amounts submitted for approval suddenly surged.

Explaining the surge, the source pointed to the personalities within the 28-member billionaire PCC as directly responsible for the surge from N245billion to N1.7trillion. According to the source, shortly following the formation of the PCC, Sayyu Dantata, a member, through his company, MRS Oil submitted a N225billion oil subsidy request for payment, Femi Otedola, through his company, AP, submitted a N105billion oil subsidy request for payment, a ‘mysterious’ construction company by the name Pinnacle Construction also submitted a claim for N300billion – during the same period.

It was during the same period that Stella Odua Ogiemwonyi who was one of the leaders in the Jonathan campaign organization filed a claim that she had spent her own personal money to the tuned of N5billion – for the maintenance of the campaign secretariat. Stella Odua Ogiemwonyi is the Chief Executive Officer of Sea Petroleum and Gas. Interestingly, her company submitted claims for oil subsidy payments in excess of N5billion. Her claim was approved and paid.

Cursory inquiry confirms that a significant percentage of the claims submitted by the members of the PCC were fraudulent. The fraudulent oil subsidy claims freed the President’s ability to spend in a manner deemed unprecedented by informed experts.

On March 16, 2011, the campaign released N55million to a media company [name withheld] for a single advertisement slot. By March 31, 2011, the campaign paid N7.3billion in advertisements. On March 28, 2011, it donated one car and one bus to each of the 36 chapters around the country and the FCT – along with a cash donation of N14million to each chapter [totaling N518million]. In monetary terms, its equates to a little over N1billion. Between April 12 and April 15, 2011, the campaign disbursed N107billion.

When approached regarding the sourceof the exobitant spending, the Director of the Neighbor to Neighbor Initiative [the main NGO funding and managing the Jonathan campaign], Mr. Mike Omeri stated the donations came from online contributors.

Comparing the yearly trendings of the oil subsidy claims submitted from 2006 to 2011, highlights the anomaly in the oil subsidy claims between March 2011 and August 2011. In 2006, subsidy claims was submitted for 26.9million liters of petrol for the amount N200billion, in 2008, subsidy claims was submitted for 33.4million liters of petrol for the amount N630billion, and for 2010, subsidy claims was submitted for less than 33million liters of petrol for a little over N600billion.

And so it begs the question, What the President knew about the N1.76trillion subsidy payment.

BusinessBeware Of These Gsm (419) Numbers 08035904659, 07026111467 by zoomzu(op): 5:03pm On Jul 21, 2010
Fellow NL,

Beware of these numbers, 08035904659, 07026111467 and 08060027881. somebody called me with them this morning telling me we both served in Sokoto, with the name he mentioned, I played the game along with him.

Unfortunately for him, this is where he missed it, he said he's now MD at NNPC that he just returned to the country, that there is nothing they can do in NNPC without him. This is how I caught him, He asked me to go and load my phone with credit of minimum of 3k, that I should not call him in a business centre, he said there is this materials he want to supply, he used to give it out at the rate of 550k per carton but the actual price 450k per carton and he's to supply 100 cartons, that he used to buy it in Abuja.

He asked me to call one Elder Mark Ogah who is the material manager on this number 08060027881. I noticed the way he was rushing, he wants everything sharp sharp and you know this is how 419 behaves. I said to myself, how can an MD as he called himself could not afford credit to call someone you have not seen or heard from for a very long time? I decided not call him, after about 5 hours later, I called him and shouted thief, 419 at him. He said he would kill me with Juju over the phone. Please beware and the GSM Operators the owned these numbers too should keep an eye on them.

Finally, lets us all encourage SIM Card registration in order to safeguard unsuspecting public from people like this. Aslo, we should be cautious of information we give on forum sites because he got my information on NL. I have learnt my lessons.

I came across this and decided to put it here for everybody's enjoyment, Source:- Nigeria Today Online

Systems Support Analyst

This is a customer enquiry to a systems

support analyst for your humorous enjoyment

From: abracasa@gmail.com

Dear Systems Analyst, I am desperate for some help! I recently upgraded my program from "Girlfriend 7.0" to "Wifey 1.0" and found that the new program began unexpected child processing and also took up a lot of space and valuable resources. This wasn't mentioned in the product brochure. In addition "Wifey 1.0" Installs itself into all other programs and launches during systems Initialization / Reboots and then it monitors all other system activities. Applications such as "Boys' Night out 2.5" and "Golf 5.3" no longer Run, and crashes the system whenever selected. Attempting to operate Selected "Saturday. Rugby 6.3" always fails and "Saturday Shopping 7.1" runs instead. I cannot seem to keep "Wifey 1.0" in the background, whilst attempting to run any of my favourite applications. Be it online or offline. I am thinking of going back to "Girlfriend7.0", but uninstall doesn't work on this program. Can you please help?

AND THIS IS THE REPLY /

RECOMMENDATION OF THE ANALYST :

Dear Customer, This is a very common problem resulting from a basic misunderstanding of the functions of the "Wifey1.0" program. Many customers upgrade from "Girlfriend 7.0" to "Wife 1.0” thinking that "Wifey 1.0" is merely a UTILITY AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM. Actually, "Wifey 1.0” is an OPERATING SYSTEM designed by its Creator to run everything. You are unlikely to be able to purge "Wifey 1.0" and still convert back to "Girlfriend 7.0", as "Wifey 1.0" was not designed to do this and it is Impossible to Uninstall, delete or purge the program files from the System once it is installed without repercussions. Some people have tried to install "Girlfriend 8.0" or "Wifey 2.0” but have ended up with even more problems. (See manual under Alimony/Child Support and Solicitors' Fees). Having already installed “Wifey 1.0” , My recommendation is that you keep the software installed and deal with the difficulties as best as you can. Whenever any faults or problems Occur, whatever you think has caused them, you must run the C:\APOLOGIZE\FORGIVE ME software Program and avoid attempting to use the *Esc-Key for it will freeze the entire system. It may be necessary to run and repeat the C:\APOLOGIZE\FORGIVE ME for a number of times, and eventually hope that the operating system will return to normal. "Wifey 1.0", although a very high maintenance program, can be very rewarding!. To get the most out of your software, consider buying additional Software such as "Flowers 2.0" and /or "Chocolates 5.0" or "HUGS\KISSES 600.0" or "TENDERNESS\UNDERSTANDING 1000.0", or even "Eating Out Without the Kids 7.2.1" (if child processing has already started). Taking the TLC (Tender Loving Care) capsules regularly will certainly enhance your software performance. DO NOT under any circumstances install "Secretary 2.1" (Short Skirt Version) or "One Nightstand 3.2" (Any Mood Version), as this is not a supported Application for "Wifey 1.0" and the system will almost certainly CRASH. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! BEST OF LUCK! Your Systems Analyst.

ATTN: DIRECTOR/CEO,
May I have the pleasure of introducing myself. I am Mr.Jonny Lewis, a senior staff and chairman of Tender Board Committee on the award of contracts in Department of Works and Housing here in South Africa .

I got your contact E-mail address from an international directory on lawyers and advisers on international business in my quest to find a trustworthy person on whom I can have confidence for colossal international money transaction. My aim of sending this "business proposal" to you is to solicit for your assistance and cooperation to transfer some huge amount of money into your account overseas. Therefore, this communication should be held in high confidence.

My colleague and I in the Department of Works and Land Affairs wish to transfer into a safe and secured account overseas, the sum of THIRTY TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS (US$32.5M) which is over-invoiced amount from contracts we awarded to foreign contractors who have been duly paid on completion of their various contracts. This money right now is in a coded account in the Reserve Bank of South Africa .

However, by virtue of our position as civil servants, we cannot acquire these funds in our names or in the names of companies here in South Africa . I was therefore asked by my colleagues on trust and sincerity to look for a reliable international outfit partner abroad into whose account the sum of US$32.5
Million will be transferred. We have agreed on the following sharing ratio if you accept our proposal. Seventy percent (70%) for us and Thirty percent (30%)
for you, the Account owner.

My choice of you for this transaction is basically hanged on your field and profession, hence this business proposal. If you are interested in this
deal, I will require some information from you in order to effect the transfer of the money. Please, be informed that we shall commence processing of claims
of payment once we receive your interest from you, and the funds will get into your account within Five(5)working days by Telegraphic Transfer(T.T).

Note that this transaction is 100% risk free. Do acknowledge the receipt of this letter above and forward your reply to this E-mail address(mrjonnylewis@gala.net) ) or you can call me on my private phone no + 27 78 194 3051.

PoliticsRe: Can Otunba Dipo Dina Govern Ogun State by zoomzu(f): 9:02am On Jan 26, 2010
Ogun AC Guber Candidate Shot Dead
By Olawale Olaleye in Lagos and Andrews Jaiyeola in Abeokuta, 01.26.2010

Governorship candidate of Action Congress (AC) in Ogun State during the 2007 general election, Otunba Dipo Dina was last night shot dead by unknown assailants in Ota, Ogun State between 6 and 7pm. Details surrounding his killing were still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
Dina was said to be heading for a meeting at an unknown destination somewhere in Ota when he was ambushed by four armed men, who allegedly ordered down his driver and one other person who were with him at the time of the incident.

As soon as the other occupants in the car alighted, his assailants were said to have moved in with him in. But Dina, who knew what that could mean was said to have started screaming on the spot for help before he was shot dead in his car.
Dina’s voice was said to have attracted a few people around, who had called to see what was happening, but the armed men were said to have shot into the air with a view to scaring the gathering crowd.
They were said to have intended to drive Dina away, but his shouting did not help matters as they shot and killed at the point where he was ambushed.

As at the time THISDAY spoke to the Ogun State Police Commissioner, Mr. Daura on telephone, he said he was just going to the scene of the incident but that from his discussion with the DCO, it was not a case of assassination.
“Please, it is not a case of assassination. Don’t say it is assassination. I am on my way to Ota now but I have been on the phone with the DCO and it is not a case of assassination,” Daura said even when he had not been to the scene of the incident.
However, reacting last night, former governor of the state, Aremo Olusegun Osoba said: “We won’t let this go like that. We are determined to go to the bottom of it. Dina has been quiet lately and has given everything to God. Why would anybody go after him? We won’t let this go like that. No.”

On his part, governorship candidate of All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) also during the 2007 election in the state, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, said the founding fathers of the state never thought that the state would be turned to a slaughter slab.
“Not even the Awolowos of this world, the Otegbeyes, the Wole Soyinkas would have imagined a thing like this. It’s a big shame that Dina could be cut down like this, having paid his dues. We only hope that reason would prevail. I commiserate with his immediate family,” he said.
Senator Ganiyu Solomon said he was short of words and could not believe the news. He prayed for the family of the deceased and hoped that sanity would return to the system. “Dina was a fantastic person with class pedigree. He certainly did not deserve any such thing,” Solomon said.

Dina was one of the vocal critics of Governor Gbenga Daniel's administration towards the build up to the 2007 governorship election in Ogun State.
The AC governorship candidate was locked in war of words with Daniel during and after the election and was also one of the governorship candidates who dragged Daniel to the election petition tribunal, alleging monumental fraud in the election.
At the tribunal proper, Dina had his case thrown out for lack of merit, but that did not deter him from being critical of Daniel's administration.
