I think you need to go back and do your research well. Imagine those that all they do is type with their computer, do you expect them to invest thousands on vista ultimate all because they want some documents typed? besides want does that kind of person want Aero interface for. if you're talking about pricing, compare the price of XP to Vista, it's far-far cheaper for those just getting a new system. All they're trying to do is make sure everybody can afford a copy of vista, no matter what you do. No wonder you'll never see a Mac in a business center

Okay, Microsoft. We get that Vista is all about security. We get that you've sensibly limited what programs can do without explicit approval. We can even buy the idea that there's probably a good reason behind the incessant prompting from the User Access Control code built into Vista, warning about everything from installing software to changing fonts. So clearly you'd want a UAC alert to stand out a bit--to be something a user couldn't simply ignore. That's fine. But blacking out the entire screen as if the monitor were switching resolutions? That's the best you could do?

Stick to bitdefender. it's the best out there, even PC WORLD will tell you so. If your copy is original then it's straight forward, just click on update. But if your copy is the pirated version, check out how to update here http://kb.bitdefender.com/KB233-en--Updating-BitDefender-9.html .It's kind of tedious, but when you get use to it that's all.

Wow, what a contrast in career change. Well, since you are a novice i will advice you search the net for sites that will tell you more about graphics design, download tutorials(you can check www.computerarts.co.uk). As for schools, you will definitely want to consider abroad. Check out Academy Of Art University (http://www.academyart.edu/) it's a nice school for 2d and 3d graphic.

For those of you still believing Mac is better than Pc , am kind of sorry for you guys. I saw a video yesterday explaining all the cool features that vista has; now you can take the hard-drive you installed vista on to another and still be able to access your vista without any problem. For those that undserstand what i mean, you know how cool that is . It's also going to support IPv6(internet protocol version 6), Mac will still be running IPv4. They are so many nice stuff included that will make you forget Mac. Beside, why should i buy Mac when i can't play most of the nice games out there. Mac is suppose to be for old people like my grandfather
