Happy with the ruling. |
I have a relative I am supporting in school who is now in his second year. Guy was just padding the amount and I had to remind him, I am neither his father nor his elder brother, who are both not even bothered about his schooling. I told him early January this year, that I gave him till the end of of August to get himself skilled in laptop and phone repairs, that from this September I will be assisting him with only 50% of what I have been sending and he should hustle out the rest with his skill. |
BabaRamota1980:Keeping tab on your fellow man's daily life.......Baba Ramo, I hope you are having the time to make provision for Ramota, Qudus and the rest of her siblings........because the daily drinking of garri ijebu and N50 eja din din is not good for the health of growing children. ![]() |
It is only those staff who are involved in marking assessments that are on strike, not the entire staff! Moreover most UK Universities are on summer break for many who joined this January while those who are doing one year Masters, that joined last September are presently in their last trimester where they don't attend lectures but are at home or at the library, working on their dissertation. |
Broveens42:Why do you think psychosis is the most common diagnosis among patients under restraint in psychiatric hospitals? |
Mazisimonekpa:Simon Ekpa's psychosis just dey ginger am, dey make am raise shoulder, crowned himself Prime Minister that has been one of his fantasies 😂😂😂😂 A tiny pin deflates a balloon....Simon Ekpa is not invisible, when hand go finally touch am e go dey shout say he was illegally extradited from Europe.....all the shakara go end and Nigeria will help him slim down fast..... continue. |
OP, two things that will still be very much common in Nigeria till the next 50 years (if Nigeria will still geographically be the same...I highly doubt it) is religious fanatism and tribalism, so get used to that and concentrate on your life ....almost everyone of us presently on Nairaland now is very likely going be dead and gone by 2099....no stress am as time will sort out every one of us.😆😆 |
Sell a Catholic Church and the land around it as a Parish Priest? 😂😂😂 The Church building and land documents are in the name of the Diocese, in the custody of Bishop's office....abeg which document e give the seller and seller agree to buy a Church and the compound?😂😂😆 |
Very low.....judgement for sale. |
They should first understand their local language then proper English before being fluent in the pidgin version. |
JagabanB:My state governor Uzodinma who is part of your WhatsApp group has already increased the minimum wage to N40k, which is still not a living wage. Government has no business providing jobs rather implement policies that encourages the private sector to thrive just as it is here in the UK. When the private sector thrives with less cost of doing business in Nigeria, they hire more Nigerians to work in their companies and government get more revenue from taxes from those workers. Get the economy working and more people would economically engaged, government purse would increase. I am happy paying my 20% tax and other bills here in the UK because I see my tax at work, good roads, 24/7 electricity, water, internet. The park I go for my jogging that is 3 minutes walk from my house is well maintained, good healthcare access and when I start having children, I no get tension of paying school fees because na free, I only just have to buy uniforms and stationery. |
Buhari's cousins, only God knows how much of public funds Buhari wasted in Niger Republic in preparation for his retirement there. ![]() |
benqo01:It seems you just drank the urine, you stored for some months thus your struggle with comprehension. |
uuzba:U be ancestor o!...I hail! ![]() |
JagabanB:Which struggle, a person who does 12hrs daily shift for 5 days and rests for 2 days and comfortably meeting up with his bills is struggling? ![]() This minimum wage is one which an immigrant that can't communicate much in English language can easily do...packing bananas in small nylon bag and sealing them sealing tape, packing potato chips into cartons, sorting out parcels etc. Not to talk of soft work like some support worker's role where your own is just to be observing a client while they sleep and get paid £13.50/hr Maybe those doing the below jobs that don't even need one to attend university, also need to do extra jobs in Nigeria to survive! ![]()

Urheadmaster:It is not about DSS' professionalism, they were instructed not to clear him. Haven't you seen ministers over the years who had questionable records but got cleared by DSS? |
Mmcandy21:Then the deportation was proper. I lived and schooled in Kenya, had my student visa which gave me legal residency in Kenya. After graduating, I still had one year validity remaining on my Kenyan student visa, reason I applied for my UK study visa from Kenya and I got it and I have been in the UK since then. You were not supposed to apply for visa to a third country while on tourist visa in Tanzania, except for other Eastern African countries like Kenya, Uganda etc. |
TimeMachine2:Jona na ijaw man, there is a difference! ![]() |
oikirodah:Shebi you say u studied Theology, how such mind downgraded into being a sycophant to individuals who ways you can not vouch for before the God, whose nature you studied, is baffling. |
And many African leaders will not see this as an embarrassment. ![]() |
TimeMachine2:While Buhari who gave him the go-ahead must live? How they fear the Fulanis! ![]() |
TimeMachine2:As tiny it is, those five igbo states when combined is bigger than Israel in size but the entire Nigerian states including yours when combined, no reach any where near Israel in terms of human capital development, food production, military prowess, healthcare services, quality education, road networks etc....being broda agbaya no be show off! ![]() |
helinues:Qudus, the billionaire....why not ask the peasants in the village you come from, how much be N600 per litre? |
Racoon:Also surprised that Omo-Ikirodah, the APC paid sycophant posted this. ![]() |
danvon:Davido took it down but still shared actively on social media by millions of people and also downloaded......let them rant, nothing can be done. |
The only thing cool about the OP, is the boldness to claim where is he from with his full chest as all others here, claim to be indigenes of Lagos. ![]() |
JagabanBorgu:You are busy showing off ignorance while forming intellectual. Compare it to the UK, where when you are age 23 or over you can't be paid less than the national minimum living wage of £10.42 per hour, for a 23 year old who lives and works in Coventry, 60 hrs per week earning £652, after necessary deductions he should be going home with at least £500 weekly and that is about £2,000 monthly. He pays the rent for his room, £500(bills inclusive), monthly health insurance of about £90, food for £150, Monthly bus pass for unlimited bus travel within West Midlands that covers Coventry, Birmingham etc for £55, clothing, footwear and toiletries £300, phone subscription £25, hanging out £150......Oya, now compare him with a Nigerian graduate earning the minimum wage of N30,000 monthly. |
NewDea4:How many men in your family who are his age mate, are in is his league? |
Na Davido be their problem, did they demand for apology from Qdot who is Muslim but did his video that is about 3 months now on youtube that had guys and ladies who were wearing hijab, dancing and doing clubs moves on the praying mats while Qdot dressed like an Alfa. |
Mmcandy21:While in Tanzania, did you have a legal residency or you were on tourist visa? |
The guy no do well, at this stage the husband to be sends money (which is called ego nchere uzo) to the wife to be, to buy and arrange things from her end, all he has to do is show up with his people on the day of the celebration. But this one whey e don dey buy catfish for cooking of soup at his own traditional wedding make e also add cocoyam, achi, uziza and other condiments for the waybill! ![]() Nna, e be like say na d man go dey go market when dey marry to make sure the wife no go cheat am. ![]() |
