I watched a cctv footage on how a sliding gate slide out and fell on a woman that was trying to fully open it, and a lil girl.
It was such a very horrible thing to watch.
I am just wondering what could have been done to that gate, during its construction and/or installation, that could have prevented such fatal event.

Mountmoriah has delivered the roofing materials and installers are currently installing them. I was very nervous because of my previous Fraud experience on this platform. Also, the gap of communication he created exacerbated the whole situation. Sure, there was sinister motive behind his silence but thank God I acted fast. My advice to anyone dealing with contractors on this platform or anywhere else is to be on your toes....

I have a similar experience but mine isn't furniture.

I bought a land some years ago and I discovered that there are some lands at the back of a plot next to me that no one knew about because there's small stream before the land.
I approached my agent to know who owns the land (450sqm) next to me and he told me it was his brother who was in the army. I told him I want the land to add to mine and also create access road to my back. He said his brother said "If 1" is deducted from his land, they should refund his money back."
I told him "We need 30ft x the length of the land and not 1 and I will be happy to pay him double the amount he got his land and also give the agent some commission for the sales." He discussed with the owner, they agreed and I paid for the land. He (the owner) used the money I gave him to buy another bigger land (800sqm) adjacent mine and everyone was happy.

How the furniture maker sold it to another is what I don't understand why he can't still do another one. Except that which is sold is same design he has collected money previously from a client.

furniture makers are known for this. There is this bed I saw on display and he clearly told me he made it for someone. I asked how much, he told me 190k. I told him I will take it now and pay 200k, he told me the person is coming next week to carry it. I offered him 205k and he sold it to me telling me he will work day and night to get another one done.

Business opportunities come from different angle and one can strike to tap in as much as there isn't fraud included. He should be patient for him to make another one and then BLACKLIST him. Locking him up cos he delayed him is what I didn't buy. The man messed up big time but any HUMAN can do what he did.

that's the advice I can give cos putting him in cell as a punishment for delaying his pick up date is ILLEGAL. A big man with a lawyer won't sleep a police cell for 24 hours even if he owes someone 200m in business dispute.

We big men use that to punish poor people after tipping stupidd policemen we have in Nigeria. How will you lock someone up throughout the weekend as punishment? It's bad even tho the furniture man fumbles.
