In the last couple of months, I've had a number of tête-à-tête concerning a number of Nigerian women, including professionals, who left their husbands or partners to forge lesbian relationships. In one case, a mother of 3, who is a medical doctor, separated from her husband only to move in with another divorcee (a mixed race Jamaican). I'm liberal and open-minded, but used to think that Nigerian women, especially those in their 40s are old fashioned enough not to go down this route. Am I missing out on something? |
