What do you mean, the Israelis are living peacefully and doing wonderful things. It is those Arab sc.um who refuse to embrace peace and resort to violence.

Basically the Palestinians are in a situation equivalent to the Black South Africans under apartheid, only worse.
They can't trade because the Israelis block their ports and their crossings, they can't travel from Gaza to the West Bank without going through Israeli checkpoints.
A few idiots fire rockets into Israel, but they are nothing more than fireworks, the Israelis fire missiles and pretty much everything else they get from the American military from F15s and tanks.
