There have been calls from various quarters for Goodluck Jonathan to resign on account of his patent incompetence, his unguarded and unpresidential utterances and his heavy necking and petting of corruption. On another front, the House of reps has also threatened to impeach him. Much as many will want to see the end of this Jonathan era, there is a greater and more beneficial reason not to wish for his impeachment or resignation. That one big reason is that if Jonathan goes, VP Nama Sambo will take over. A man that is deputy to a retardeen can never be more intelligent than the retardeen.He will be a sub-retardeen making us looking back longingly to the inglorious days of retardeen. Proof: Obj was more intelligent than Atiku. Yar'adua was far more intelligent than Jonathan and see where Jonathan taking over has landed us. Yet Jonathan in all his hopelessness is far more intelligent than Mr Nama Sambo who has practically disappeared in the face of boko haram menace. Nigeria leaders choose as deputies those they are more intelligent than. For the above singular reason, I will not support a call for the resignation or impeachment of Goodluck Jonathan. We will just have to wait for the expiry date of the GEJ product. |

What makes you think if jonathan resigns or is been impeached sambo is gonna takeover. Can't you read the handwriting on the wall. Simple quote.. "birds of the same feathers, flock together." i guess you now know what i mean.. |

been asked this question many times and it worries me that Nigerians are simply afraid of the unknown. Acheivers takes risks and Nigerians must be ready to do same. The fact is we have a failure at our hand (at least till date), lets get rid of this menace first. Sambo (as expected by the constitution will be the next President) doing better or not is pretty 50-50. No one can really know and no one is sure but what we are sure of now is the current incompetent person on the seat. If sambo comes and still the same dumbhead, boot his ass out also |

During the buhari/Idiagbon era, Nigerians strongly and rightly believe that it was Idiagbon calling the shots however Buhari also prove himself also during the PTF era. besides, i think Miserable Atiku is much more intelligent than OBj crook-wise sha. |

Demdem:Buhari/Idiagbon is a military setup. Am happy you said Atiku is more intelligent than OBJ only 'crookwisely'. Both references further validates my position that in leadership qualities Nigerian leaders look for duller persons as deputies. Just like the duller Jonathan was painstakingly sourced for an already dull Yar'adua. And the rest is history. |

floriana: . . . the prevalent mindset among Nigerians is what ALLOWS the country to remain the way it is today. The problem is rather than take risks, using Democracy to our advantage, majority, in "playing it safe" continue to force the status quo to remain. You don't solve a problem by choosing to bow to fears that the future might be worse. It should not matter what the next man does because like before, we will use democracy to our advantage to get rid of him,and any eejit after him, until we get exactly what the country needs. Choosing to stand still out of fear that any slight movement might lead the Nation to to more chaos, or worse, is not be an acceptable solution to any problem. |

Nigerians love retardeens, we loved the dull and greedy. Don't we? if not, why do we get scared of shooing of men and women who cannot represent their father's name not to talk of Nigeria as a whole? the power of every government is the people. France before they became a republic, overthrew the palace of their monarch who starved them of their staple food, 'Bread'. They beheaded him and his mean queen and elected a republican govt. No body is saying we should behead Jona or his boy Sambo. But we can ask them as the people to go, we can demand that they do what we put them there to do, or what we allowed them to put themselves there to do. Or better still, we can suffer and smile as we love doing. |
