For a while now, I've been banned from the Travel section. A guy in Canada opened a thread telling people that doing Masters in Canada is tough advising most Nigerians not to go there. I then made a sexual joke about him which he took no offense to but the comment was removed by the mod. Of course it got me upset and I made another post constructively criticizing the mod about unnecessary censoring of free speech. Next thing I know, I am banned from that section. No warnings, nada!!!
I couldn't give two fu<ks about that but the point here is that this censorship thing is really offensive. As long as no pornography image or no posts advertising prostitution, drugs or crazy stuff in that category, I'm cool with your opinions. I may not like them, but I respect you for expressing it. C'mon we dont need pastors or born-agains as mods here please.

I think the whole idea is about conflict of interest and suppression of the rights of nlers in a contemporary democratic society.Seun and his mods derive their power from the forumites' obedience to their orders and they are afraid of a classless site.They see themselves as a ruling class while everyone else is seen as a subject class. This ruling class oppress the subject class by using the instruments available to them such as ban but they forget that power is not monolithic.You cant cage or bully people forever.we are in a free society,we've got rights and NL must respect our rights. Say no to ABSOLUTISM on NL.This is a free society not Animal Farm.

At the end he needs to do what he think is right for his business considering all internal and external enviromental factors. If when our people start progressive businesses we threaten them without course then we are killing intrepreneurship in Africa. How many people are happy or not happy about facebook, twitter, whatsapp etc. To be honest those do not give you an option but give what they already decided on.

I think the green monster stays in Africa, honestly.

Nl is different from Fb or whatsApp due to its annoymity.I have been to foreign forums mostly British forums and you'd be surprise at the rate of racism going on their.why is anybody not complaining about that ? I think the same way the police maltreats people and suppress them is exactly what's going on here ? I was raced in a liberialized home and coming here and find people still living in medieval era is kind of frustrating.

Hey lad, I think you should do some rerearch, because from what i've been seing, the catch phrase arose because of the silly Mods' habbit of posting unimportant and uneducative stuff on the front page.
