I don't even think O'level should be a criteria for screening students into the University. Whether for MBBS or for EDUCATION HAUSA.
They should use the 5 credit level in 1 or 2 sittings simple!
Nowadays secondary school leavers don't even sit for WAEC or NECO by themselves anymore (not all of them sha).
You'll see a student with 9 Distinctions in WAEC but that same person can't even Solve Ordinary Quadratic equation or differentiate theoritically between NH3 and HCl....mtsweee
.
I know many students currently in UI med college who got in with Credit level and 220+ in Jamb some 2-3years ago doing exploit. O'LEVEL is overrated
.
PS: I'm not against getting Distinctions in O'level ooo, me myself, I had 4 distinctions, 3B's, 1-c and 1 Fatima tara during my sec skul grad....

Abt d pple dat got tru jamb its rily unfortunate dat d "I knw somebody" factor played out very well..someone wth 310 didn't gt admission nd u will see lower score lyk 209,232,223 getting medicine.....according to a friend dat scored very low nd actually paid(to d registrar) to b included in d vc list, he met d registrar today nd d man said jamb haven't approved d list cos of many low scores been placed into medicine ,pharmacy etc.

Stop peddling lies. Medicine admission is strictly on merit there's no way you beat the cutoff mark and won't get admitted. If you doubt me show proof of yours or anyone's once I verify it I would give you 30,000naira. Free money. Just proof me wrong. As for VC List, there's always going to be a FEW persons who would make it in through that but trust me if they don't sit up they'll be flushed out, just like they did in my time. Please I'm tired of seeing all this; my friend father this, my uncle's sister that. Show me proof that you actually beat the porn and make free money. Be guided in your statement please. Thank you

That's true. Although anatomy and physiology graduates from Unical can go straight into Clinicals because they offer same courses with medicine students till year three.

Lies! Bro. Lies! Do Anatomy students in Unical offer: Clinical BCM, FORENSIC BCM, NEUROPHYSIOLOGY, AMINO ACID METAB, ETC Do PHYSIOLOGY Offer: NEUROANATOMY, CARB NETAB, LAPID METAB, ETC.

And please don't lie about ethnicity, UNICAL is very transparent in giving admission please

Told you earlier, I'm tired of my friend this, my sister that. I want someone to come out and say I SCORED THIS AND WAS NOT GIVEN" Also noted that Admission isn't based on JAMB Alone, how was his WAEC, post UTME if any. There's what we call MERIT, LOCALITY AND ELDS that also would be taken into account. As for the guy with 223 if truly there is, the supplementary thing is still there, or vc list as people call it. But it's very FEW. And trust me, almost all of them would eventually be flushed out if they don't situp. My friend study hard and stop lying to yourself and giving yourself fake hope. If medicine is what you want work hard you'll get it. I wrote JAMB twice so I could endup in Medicine. My 1st JAMB got me my 2nd choice. Medical Laboratory Science I had one of the best CGPA's in year 1. But that wasn't what i wanted so i had to putin again in year 1 workered harder, restratigized and prayed. We thank God it was successful. That was years back. The problem most people have is that instead of looking inwards and blaming themselves and then go back to the drawing board, find loopholes and restratigized and work harder. Instead the rather compensate themselves by going insearch of stories about a friend of a friend who scored 400 and wasn't given and 1 Proffessor son who had 190 and was given and all that trash. My 1st JAMB i missed medicine by 5marks but I never blamed anyone, I blame myself for not working hard enough couple with Secondary school mentality. Hope this helps

I hoping that means medical student.

If so, I would love if you can help with the following questions

1. How would you rate unizik, as a med school? the lecturers, facilities, environs etc.

2. what was the supposed jamb cut off for 2015, I know 2016 was different.

3. How many students are admitted yearly for medicine.... Possibly a ratio of indigenes to non-indegenes would be deeply appreciated

Thanks you sir!
