Hey Silly- it was not d introduction of #1000 note dat 'killd' #1 and #5 but inflation and to some extent marginal devaluation; and so you know there is no link bw higher denomination and inflation(hope you at least did a little economics in yr high skul days)....this decision by d President was a political decision(albeit a strategic one) not an economic decision

The whole debate on this matter was unnecessary. Sanusi ought to have gotten FG endorsement before making the announcement. Why announce and then go for endorsement? Would anyone try that with OBJ? Why not wanting to make comparisons, GEJ needs to take charge and stop allowing the country waste time and energy on irrelevancies while schools, hospitals, roads etc are facing gross abandonment.
