A Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) Enerhen, Delta state, Pastor Celestine recently set himself on fire in a broad day light in Udu, Delta state.
Pastor Celestine took the sad decision to kill himself, after impregnating a choir member of his church, Sister Rose.

Efforts of Pastor Celestine to persuade Sister Rose to abort the pregnancy proved abortive, as she claimed that she might lose her life in the abortion process.

She refused the N2, 000,000 given to her by the late Pastor, even when he explained to her that their parish may scatter, if the news of her pregnancy spreads to the other church members.

As it is apparent to Pastor Samuel that Sister Rose will not go for the abortion, the happily married Pastor and father of one said that he could not face the shame.

He drove to Udu Bridge and poured petrol all over his body and lit the lighted. He burnt to death before help could reach him.
