The Lagos State Government in its bid to further make Lagos safe and secure for its citizen, has given a boost to crime fighting with the handing over of 114 patrol vehicles, 40 patrol motorbikes, bullet proof jackets and other security items to the police to enhance their efficiency. The Inspector-General of Police, Muhammed Abubakar, received the items donated by the 20 local government councils and 37 local government development areas In the state. He was full of praises to the government for its continued support to police and other law enforcement agencies in their numerous tasks of guaranteeing security of life and property of Lagosians. |

Since the lack of equipments and resources is preventing the Nigerian police from adequately protecting your people, you go just sit on your hands and not spend the dame taxpayers fund to protect the same taxpayers? Of what use are you as a leader if you can not protect your own people with state funds.? Do you have any state police for the governor to give the money to instead?
