Pictures 1-3:Total rehabilitation of Greater Jos- Bukuru water project Shen. The last major work was done in 1983, till this administration came on board. This has a capacity of 90,000 cubic meter per day, there are two other plants at....laminga........ With the capacity of 18,000 cubic metre and 4,000 respectively. They have secured a loan from first bank for an 8bn Naira water project for a plant built in 1934, at Bogongiri. This project will capture Bukuru metropolis. This dam has been renamed Yakubu Gowon Dam.

Picture 4: A completed road project connecting Jos North through the abattoir to Jos South.

It's a shame to all those armchair critics of the GEJ administration that he is on track. Things are working for good. Developments spreading across all states in the country. It must not escape mention to thank the minds behind this tour. It is an eye opener to us all.

Damn! the soil looks reddish . . . so much blood in there . . . what's Gej and PDP doing 'bout the 'soil reddening' process?
Re: National Good Governance Team In Plateau State. #nggtour2012 by divatosin(f): 1:11pm On Oct 22, 2012
The truth is that most people don't bother to find out about the activities of government. Many are stuck on Facebook, twitter, Nairaland, and BB all day criticising Jonathan without any proper knowledge of what is going on. Nigeria is a vast country. It is easy to see developmental projects embarked upon by a state Governor in his capital than to see the efforts of FG across the length and breadth of the country. Somebody in Lagos can only assess what the govt is doing in Plateau through the media which could be very unreliable.

This National Good Governance tour offers both critics and praise singers alike the opportunity to make an assessment of both the state and federal government in each state.
It behoves on those close to these project sites to ascertain the veracity of govts claims with regards to the projects. If it is true, let them come to Nairaland and confirm. If it is a lie, let's have it exposed on Nairaland. That is the best way to go about it.

Keep showing them the achievements. State number 4 running. They will never comment, because it is not in their interest but Nigerians are watching, subconsciously, they are taking note

Diva tosin, you have spoken well, you must be a very brilliant lady,I believe the aim of this tour is to enlighten the public on governments works around them, both state and Federal. But this tour is making me realize the fact that our state governors are not getting the heat they deserve,if every state governor were to embark on projects that reflects on the living standard of their people, you will get to realize that we do not necessarily have to call the FG for everything, nice one Maku.

Please are these pictures for real? Na wa oh. This administration is doing good in the lives of Nigerians. Great vision, great projects and good plans. I will not fail to commend this govt,. The critics should be objective enough to commend this administration where necessary and if they must do otherwise they should come with solutions as well. Critics please be part of this good history.

A wonderful submission... I can't but align with ur argument on the lack of responsibility and attention on matters of governance by our present day youth... Little wonder their mal-nourished critiscism about the Government.

The projects are not only that of the Fg. Some are for the state government. Read the op very well. The dams and roads were built by Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau state. The man is really performing. He is doing so much inspite of the insecurity challenge. That is essence of the tour from what Maku said. It is to showcase achievements of govts at all levels.

Ladies and gentlemen, what you are seeing here is no photo trick but reality. Kudos to Gov Jang, a man of the people.

Gov Jonah Jang is a man of truth and conscience. He has worked to develop Plateau State far more than those states that collect jumbo federal revenue allocations. I was in Plateau State and I saw development in action.

Keep it up, Jang and may God continue to guide your conscience in all you do cool.

What govt are you referring to?

Only in a sick country like Nigeria would you have a 'good governance' team, is governance supposed to be bad?

They have merely provided the bare basics and want to be praised for it. Rubbish. Maku as Min of Info is on an image laundering mission for his paymasters and gullible citizens are here praise singing. Wont be surprised if some of those doing so here are are part of the problem.

Look at the apology of a road reported in the 4th pic - from the image there's no obvious drainage channel. It's just a tarred surface which shall have been washed away by the rains in another 12 months. Yes. It is not a new occurrence, abi na today e begin dey happen?

In the same pic there are several mobile policemen/soldiers wielding weapons of war, and air-brained, garbage-mouthed Maku and his entourage of low-lifers and rent-seekers want me to believe they are interested in good governance?

You ended up bad mouthing without making any sense. Your bad belle for this administration is far too obvious. You have been gloating like a parrot saying this government has not done anything since it was elected in 2011.

Here we are. The minister of information has decided to respond to your baseless criticisms with a tour of ongoing and completed projects embarked upon by this administration since last year.
What again do you want to hear or see? Since Maku has been telling you about these projects on NTA, you have been doubting it. But today, he has gone the extra mile to show you these projects and yet you are not happy.

The road you refer to as an apology is a state road embarked upon by Jang to to link jos North and South through airport road as reported in the story. It's no mean feat relative to a state govt with little resources at its disposal.

Whether during Shagari, Abacha, or Obj, there's no way this level of security presence wouldn't have been mounted for the visit of Ministers from Abuja. So your attempt to make an issue out of it is untenable.
Stop hating. If you must hate. Hate with facts.

Thank God for the national assemble. The hope was that Mark/Tambwal ĄЙd̶̲̥̅̊ their teams will just robber stamp the 'empty' paper called budget so the looting continue . Meanwhile I just wonder why those equipment being moved from state to state for circus shows are not repainted for next state show defebders on NL will do Maku a lot of good drawing his attention there.
I thank the national assembly for the shows, am earning allowances

It is so unfortunate the pathetic low you people have descended to. The important thing however is that the country is moving forward and it is Maku's job to point out the facts. It is GEJ's job to put the facts on ground, but you seem comfortable with the job of complaining about everything.

People are just funny, one guy once complained that his good health is the major reason why he has not tested out the 'medical facilities put in place by government'... grin grin
