Sorry but your numbers as well as Objectivity is incorrect. First of all when Bush took over it was over US 6TR and when Obama took over its was Over 12bn. From then to now US4Tr was added. But you do know which presidents the debt increased the most right: Bush followed by his dad, followed by Reaga. What many people dont know is that with Reagan it wnet from US1 Tr to over US3 tr (that 300%) dont take my word just google US DEBT CEILING Since 1981. Also note that whether or not Rep want to agree, Obama inherited the WORST ECONOMY IN HISTORY. Thats a fact. The last years were WORST then the geat depression. When you take all these things into considertion, you see that he didnt do that bad at all. Things like Gas prices are not determinded by Obama or any govermnet but by eco factors. To be honest, the main issues is not the presidency but the Congress. The last adminsitrations have not have a Congress backing it, so each president has spent the last years fighting congress getting nothing done. The ONLY presdident that was able to work with a Opposition Congress was Clinton. elampiro: |

PBundles: Sorry but your numbers as well as Objectivity is incorrect. Your figures are not correct. I have been following this debt thing for years. See below. U.S. Debt Hits $16 Trillion Romina Boccia September 4, 2012 at 4:22 pm Today, the U.S. debt clock hit $16 trillion. Compare that to the end of 2008, just days before President Obama officially took office, when the total federal debt was short of $10 trillion. That’s a 60 percent increase in the federal debt in less than 4 years! Now more than ever, Congress should get to work to rein in out-of-control spending and debt. The economic health of the American nation is at stake. Each American’s share of the federal debt rises to $37,437. That represents nearly three-quarters of the income of the average American household earning $50,964 in 2012. And these levels are projected to grow even further, to the point where each American’s share of the federal debt will surpass the staggering $100,000 mark in less than 20 years. Current and future generations of taxpayers are on the hook for increasing levels of debt as Washington continues on its spending spree. http://blog.heritage.org/2012/09/04/u-s-debt-hits-16-trillion/ Now compare Obama accumulated debt of $6trillion in 3 1/2 years with Bush $5trillion in 8 years, including two marathon wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Also, I don't agree with you that Obama doesn't have congress to his side. All his bills are rubber stamped. Obamacare care went through congress, senate and finally backed by the supreme court. |

REALITY101: @ the bolded, Obama is really not a smart guy politically, he would have been better off If he is a 'Movie Star' Politics in America is the biggest thing and it's for the smart ones!! |

ekt_bear: Is this not the same UK from which the Scots want to secede (in part) because the rest of the UK is too politically conservative? Do you know that the UK = 4 countries in one, and all the countries within the UK are kind of semi-autonomous(and they have been for a long time)?? You need to read more about the UK before making yourself sound ignorant - I expect a higher level of intellectualism from you... |

REALITY101:Can't you pass your information across without using slur words? It really speak of your failure to express yourself as an avid supporter of Mitt Romney(which I found nothing to be wrong with) but your silliness. However, airing your views in aggressive way doesn't help matter either. Whatever the idea one has about Obama versus Romney presidency, there is the truth that can not be ignored, that there is no way Republican would have done better to have the country back on track or in a better shape with the condition of things in the economy. Going about who is wrong, that can be blamed on the same party that have squandered a lot pursuing war in Iraq, shifting businesses abroad and propagating the ideology of reliance on foreign energy. I think Obama is trying to do something but with some shortcomings, which are the very core problems of the past errors, and the failure of Republicans to support the government based on agreed bipartisanship. Most of us are quite aware Obama is not to blame but the policies and party. If you think that Romney would do better, it is very obvious you are just being myopic in your views. He's not been able to speak to the public is plans and policies rather than he would cut tax for the rich and change this or that. I need to be told how that can be achieved and affirmative reasons on how he is going to put them in place - not just making a point without backing it up with evidences. Obama on the other way is not better but he can explain something to reasonable minds about his plan and how he plans to achieve that, which is clearer than what Mitt Romney stands for. I would dare you explain to all of us here why you think party change all rather Mitt Romney would be a better leader to bring US out of this present economic crisis? From what I have seen so far, what you have written only prove you are being choosy in your approach to this election 2012. I shrewd citizen would see what the president has on table than race and party fight - that you have not exhibited here. It is sad you are accustomed to individual than plans and policies in these your views on the election. On Donald Trump, I think he's just looking for a way to exonerate himself of the past humiliation about the so called "Obama Certifigate" he's core advocate. On the contrary, his attempts in trying again to put Obama in a bad light only proves one thing that he doesn't like Obama policies or just seeking attention(as he's used to). Now, Donald Trump is not either better in coming out clean. We have seen many instances of crimes he has committed and the basic reasons he won't want to run for president. Please, you need to see beyond economic crisis to judge this president. And, the repeated outbursts of calling people Nigga in your comments don't speak well of what you are trying to pass across and is annoying to say the least. If I am an individual fighting to vote for Romney after reading your comments I would quickly retreat from doing so. |

This Trump's latest stunt is to stroke the racial fire. He's trying to make the usual racial point that Obama is dumb and only got to Harvard because of affirmative action. He also made a statement couple of weeks back that Obama should stop monkeying with the numbers Sarah Palin same thing yesterday with her "shuck & jive" comment yesterday John Sunnunu telling Obama to "learn how to be an American" The right wing racial machine is now in full swing. Sadly, this attempt to play the racial card is working. This may be the deepest racial split in any presidential election. 1 Like |
