To strengthen inter-group rela-tions and consolidate on the peace process, the Plateau State governor, Jonah David Jang, has approved the appointments of senior spe-cial assistants on Igbo, Hausa, Fulani, and Yoruba community relations.

A statement from the office of the governor listed the appointees as follows, Barrister Akazamus Anakwe, Senior Special Assistant, Community Relations, Igbo, Mr. Austin Iyere,  Senior Special Assistant, South-South, Barrister Lawal Ishaq, Senior Special Assistant, Hausa, Malam Salihu Musa Umar, Senior Special Assistant, Fulani, Mr. Tunde Oladapo, Senior Special Assistant,Yoruba. The statement which was signed by Governor Jang’s Director of Press and Publicity, James Mannok, said the appointments are to further broaden participation of all Plateau people in the governance of the state.
