Please,how does ui calculate there points(both o'level and jamb) for admission.i don't understand.

I pity u pple going to uniben for medicine!as a fact,uniben current vc has usurp the power of the skl admiss board by admittn if nt only,maybe most benin indigenez.oda areas in south-south evn av little chanc of being admittd let alone oda catchmnts.imagine ds last list,hardly wld u find a yoruba name on the list...UNIBEN is nw sentimental nd indigineous on their admssn stuff,unlyk b4 when it wz based on merit regardless of ur catchment areaz.just be think it well bfor going for any uni thks!

@dat guy talkn abt uniben,stp dat arrant nonsense u re spittn 4rm ur mouth. Uniben admit people base on merit(nt sayn there is no backdoor parole though) so jst 4get abt d indigene stuff abeg. I knw of many course mates 4rm west nd north in my dept.

@buzyguy,am sure u were denied admsn in uniben,bt dt does nt mean u wl scare peple away wit ur baseless accusatns. Try harder next tym,uniben wl definitely gve u if u deserve it. I wrote ma post ume nd got ma admsn without any hlp.

Na d 2 methods UI used oo..Jamb alone and Jamb+ Olevel..
My course is dentistry and dental surgery...d jamb cutoff was 252..and i got 230...and i dnt even reach d locality or Elds sef.but i was shortlisted and admitted sef.but my comb was 73.0percent....so i can tell u UI used both methodx..u can see from d link hesjay posted above..
U guyx sudnt fear na..face ur Jamb 1st...all is well o..add me @ leget01 if u qat any prob

yes check leget's post above.Its the two combinations,like me i hd a weak O'lvl results bt my Jamb boost my chance of gainin d admission.First of al gt a gud mark at ds forthcomin UTME nd wit GOD AL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE

i got dual admission dis year and futa was my 2nd choice... Although funaab also admits 2nd choice candidates, i also kno of lautech and Eksu
