Below is a capture of my internet speed test using speedTest.com. What can you say about this result compared to the lousy internet service given to us in Nigeria by those cheating ISPs.

what do all those figures mean and how can i test my speed ?

Internet speed is variable and that might not be a true picture of service quality.Do another speedtest during peak periods and let us know what your bandwidth is like.

If I see one-fifth of dis speed, I go downlaod all d movies for torrent finish. See speed. Dat na like 700mb movie in less than 5mins sef. Person don suffer for easy blaze hand o.

Come back, PHCN has been privatized and vsat is faster.

i sometimes get up to 19mb on etisalat

what some folks dont understand is... sometimes u need a very good modem or gadget to get the full speed these networks can offer..

imagine someone using 3.2mb capacity modem, dont expect ur speed to be more than 1-2mb.. and if u are using 7.2mb, ur speed wont be more than 5-6mb
same goes for mobile phone, they all have the limits they can carry

some people just believe all modems are the same because they have the same shapes...

well as for my mtn 7.2mb modem ...ama post the screen later

Cheating is a Standard practice by all this Provider but they become worse when they find a FREE COUNTRY Nigeria where Crime and cheating is their Ethics.

Latest news in UK is about the power supplier.

There's been a serious accusation against them cheating the customer....and their Bosses will be summoned to commons to be grilled by the MPS.

But can Nigerian stealing Senator Question PHCN BOSS or DANGOTE why their product is OVER PRICED and not up to Standard.

Not just in Nigeria, 3g/4g internet is bad all over the world best you can get is 300kb/s download, so people showing glo or mtn 3g it'd be bad even if you were in Europe or America...someone show broadband....
