Atheist:-D: Not really. if you go back to the comment being responded to "Your failed argument has been made by a fool before. Amputees dont have faith.Keep insulting amputees to protect your God"you will see that my response mate on the comment and the fact still remain that you can never know who is fool: is it those that believe that restored limbs is possible or those that dont? on how it relate to the topic: you can never call anyone a fool, just because of his belief. Also you should never underestimate the level of faith at which people operates since God is the determiner of the level of one's faith. First the responder did not believe that God exist and never question how bones grow in his body, then it will be hard for him to even believe that a restored limbs is possible if testified by the receiver of such miracle. Know also that, since the time of Jesus, those who are even closer to him doubts that he raised again and doing justice on this topic, could only amount to Time, Faith, Belief and Amputtee whose limb was restored. You and i might not have concrete evidence in our surroundings, but i strongly believe its possible for an amputated limbs to be restored. You should know that the more we see God depends on our level of spiritualism and to every man, he shows himself differently, because he is larger than imagination. |

obadiah777: OH YE SIMPLE ONES HOW LONG WILL YE LOVE SIMPLICITY ? SO YOU THINK EVERY TIME SOMEONE IS BORN, THE LORD CREATES A NEW SPIRIT FOR THAT PERSON ? YOU DO ERR Ermm...yeah...but how does this support your theory of reincarnation? There is no where in d Bible that says God recycles spirits. If all creation was finished in d beginning could it not mean every single spirit was created in d beginning? That makes more sense dan this reincarnation stuff. D origins of reincarnation are in Eastern occultism, not Christianity. |

mollie12:AND IF ALL SPIRITS ARE CREATED FROM THE BEGINNING THAT MEANS THEY ARE NOT CREATED AT BIRTH. THEY GET RECYCLED BACK INTO A NEW BORN BABY INTERMITTENTLY |

obalola7: Obadiah calls atheists foolsnall the time and even quotes scripture to support himself. No one is arguing about faith here. How do we know who has faith and who doesnt? The point is no statistic has shown healing by replacing lost limbs through miracles. Pastors and churches are very smart not to allow ppl who have lost limbs to come forward for healing. Look through the thread and see some ambigous responses by xtians on the topic some claiming generational curses, others that they dont need healing |

Atheist:-D: When i mean YOU, i mean the responder. It takes an higher authority to call one fool. If Obadiah refers to bible passage that calls someone fool because the person says there is no God, he might be doing that because he believes that the bible is a higher authority. But it will be wrong for any individual to call another fool. While we all know that our belief is guided with our philosophy and observation, many times it does change if someone with better understanding can take time to explain or argue it out, but not with abuse or quarrel. Yes like you said, we do not have any statistic and therefore our argument could be hanging, but does not necessary means that its not possible. Its like saying there is no air in an empty space, because we can not hold or see it. But christians should believe that God can heal amputee, because God has done some miracles that are bigger than limbs restoration. We all know as christian that its a sin to disbelieve God in any form. You will see this in God's reaction when Israel planned to returned back to Egypt, because they believe God can not take them to the promise land, despite seeing wonders God performed in Egypt and how he brought them out on dry ground. "11 And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?"(Numbers 14:11) |

obalola7: Ok. So it is right for xtians to call atheists fools but not the reverse. Oh yeah and as long as you quote scripture you are indemnified. Gotcha Does this apply to acts of aggression? The bible also supports that too. |
Re: Why Won't God Heal Amputees? by obalola7: 8:40am On Dec 29, 2012 |
Atheist:-D: It is not right for christians to call anybody including Atheist a fool, just like the bible says here: "9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy."(1 Peter 2:9-10) Everyone was once an atheist or unbeliever and if you want to make people who does not believe in God to believe God, its not by abusing them. The bible does not support aggression. However, the bible enjoined us to avoid some questions or argument that can cause more fight:"9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain."(Titus 3:9) While in another verse it says:"23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes." (2 Timothy 2:23) |
