Dele Momodu , Publisher of Ovation magazine cannot stop to write about Chief Mike Adenuga in his columm Pendulum of Thisday Newspaper.

If he's not praising him, he will be attacking persons aginst Chief Mike Adenuga.

Uncle D, PLEASE write something  refreshing and vibrant, perhaps investigative.
Though am an ardent admirer of the Mr Per Second

The current story Between Mike Adenuga and Richard Branson is a good piece.

I remember reading an article once about some folks who cried louder than the bereaved over the annulment of June 12. I think Dele Momodu was among those mentioned. It was quite shocking to me when I saw a piece about (either Babangida or Abacha) in Ovation magazine years later. Unimaginable! Did he think of the annuled June 12 elections?

This is the definition of freedom of speech; we are all free to express ourselves in any manner we desire.
Dele Momodu is a writer, in fact, a successful one and I'm sure he did not get to his present level over night. Therefore, it is absolutely senseless for any of us to dictate what this man's topics should be.

Get a life, find something better to do and leave the man alone.

Re: Dele Momodu's Lust For Adenuga by BigB11(m): 4:52pm On Feb 18, 2008
It is amusing how people just get extremely high on pulling others down and dragging this country backward.

Dele Momodu is a writer, a successful writer as a matter of fact. I believe the man has the right to write on anything, whether to praise people or to castigate people. I truly do not see anything wrong in what he's doing; it is part of his duties.

I guess, folks would have been happier if he (Dele) focuses on writing negatively about fellow Nigerians. People crave for negative vibe, they usually get very sick when things are going well for others. Another typical reasons why some folks can not prosper through out their miserable life-cycle.

Instead of trying to debase Dele Momodu's accomplishment or style of writing, could you try and see his latest work as a motivational tool that is being used to send positive message to Nigeria and to the rest of the world that success is a choice?

We need to spend more time loving and supporting one another and stop this hating epidemic that continues to kill Nigerian societies.
Re: Dele Momodu's Lust For Adenuga by doyin13(m): 7:11pm On Feb 18, 2008
Well. . .I would have nothing against Momodu if he wrote hagiographies on people
who deserve it. . .

But when you consider how run down our country is, and those responsible being feted like
saviors. . .rubbing our noses in the loot which they stole. Walahi- - - -where God dey.

Imagine that Bisi Olatilo doing a piece on the Abacha family angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angrywithout any
insert on the bloodthirstiness of their hell-residing partriach. Dishonesty is not always so much about telling lies
but also about what you choose to omit and overlook

Such people as they praise should carry Cigarette warning labels on their forehead.

Here we go again pulling rubbish into a specified topic!

This topic is not about Mr.Olatilo or Abacha family; let us stay on point.

As you have mentioned earlier " we are all free to express ourselves in any manner we desire", so I urge to respect that notion and let others express their disinterest or disapproval in anyone whatsoever. You can also express your opinions without dishing out insults.

Thank you for you cooperation

Well, OK, go ahead and express yourself; the land belongs to your father.
Have fun while you do so!

@Big B1
Mentioning one's father here is not necessary.

My humble opinion is that Dele Momodu worships anything money!
If Opokonwa gets stinkingly rich 2morow, even b/f I clock 30, Dele Momodu (don't be surprised shocked) might flash my name on THISDAY for whoever cares! undecided

I don't blame anyone for attaching money to everything success.
However, I read Dele Momodu's piece on THISDAY.
It was so obvious that he was trying so hard to court Adenuga's attention. undecided

The praises went overboard.
Perhaps, he was trying to lure the Big Glo Man into a personality interview of feature on Ovation.

Unfortunately, Dr. Mike Adenuga does not treasure such publicity!

Dele Momodu, keep licking the ass of extremely rich men!
Perhaps that is your own strategy to get to the top! tongue tongue tongue
Re: Dele Momodu's Lust For Adenuga by BigB11(m): 3:28pm On Feb 19, 2008
Too sensitive, just like a pregnant chick.

You need to calm down; Mentioning one's father in this case was not to disrespect anyone, but was simply used as a figure of speech.
Re: Dele Momodu's Lust For Adenuga by Backslider(m): 3:47pm On Feb 19, 2008
@big B1

If Dele wrote about we can come out of our prblem and not be tired of writing this then I will not have a problem.

The thing is that our writters are tired or dont have any idea about solving our problems.

The Greatest writer that came out off nigeria wrote about a problem.

How come our young writer only look at the problem write a novel drama and even act a film about the problem.
Why not write about the solution.

OUR writers think that we dont know the problem.

You can notice a NIGERIAN write when he is speaking about the problem of Nigeria.

He thinks that to have freedom of expression gives you the right to be Irresponsible to the right provided for.

It is right and responsibilty. you cant seperate them.

Re: Dele Momodu's Lust For Adenuga by Backslider(m): 1:14pm On Feb 20, 2008
@Mr Oponkwa.

A sick man needs healing.

Now for me the issue of Nigeria which Mr Dele portrays to be concerned about is what I am handling. You can never exclude morality from education. There was a great proffesor was making a point that when knowledge is acquired it most be for the good of Man and mankind.

If being a pornographic journalist betters oneself and the destroy other lives is that Good Education? will you give your kids to read a pornographic magazine just because a qualified and popular journalist wrote it?

It must be for the good of man and its kind.

In Nigeria Moral Service is very absent that is why we are turning out very selfish and greedy young men. We need to teach them to serve with their primary school education in the community.

Life is the preserve of God he wants us to help the weak with our little education and money.

I have no problem with him being an etertainment Journalist but he should stick to his Ass licking ovation and stay away from my Backpage, thats the reason i buy this day, because the columnists usally present intelligent and well researched views. I remeber when he almost bent backwards for Obsanjo to bang him, only for him to tuen around after he left power to call Him "The Ota Farm Bully"

That's ("alright-sir"/ "yes sir"wink the only thing they have done in their entire lives
And sadly, they think they are local champions
