Former External Affairs Minister, Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, has lauded Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, for his courage on public policy advocacy.
In a statement made available to THISDAY, Akinyemi noted that the CBN governor has demonstrated the courage to speak out on salient issues affecting the state of the nation.
The former minister said those who had followed Sanusi’s trajectory in life, especially those responsible for his appointment to the Central Bank and those in the Senate who confirmed his appointment should not be surprised at his controversial views, because he is more of a politico-social commentator and analyst than a banker.
