According to a relative of mine.

For the past few months now (as I have observed), Festac residence have not had pipe-borne water. They always buy water from vendors. The reason being the bedrock water is contaminated with crude oil and as such it can't be used.

Residences of Festac pls confirm. Thanks

Well there are oil deposits in Badagry but not sure if it has anything to do with the purported water scarcity in Festac
