Petrol Sell For N120 In Enugu State Since 2012 by REDDEVILS1(m): 7:07am On Jan 12, 2013
For over 3 months, residents of Enugu have been buying petrol for N120. At first people thought it will be
temporal issue. But the situation is still the same till now. Only NNPC Mega station sells @ N97. The residents of Enugu have complained bitterly but nothing has been done

It's good for them. That is what they desired.

When others were fighting for the govt to revert to the status quo of N97..they were not bother at the least but covertly supported the increase.

Seeking attention on an annonymous forum? Tell me you don't know what it means to be on this type of community !

Until you guys can take away tribalism from your mind and fight for your entitlement from who ever is in power, they will keep treating you lot as stuvpid set of people that don't count in decision making.

How is that newsworthy? That is what i have been paying for it for the past six months or more. It is the same in Enugu, onitsha, Asaba etc.
Sometimes you get it at 118 or 115.
It is only at NNPC stations that you get it at 97 but they sell once in two weeks.

But if every parts of the country have joined in the protest back then, we could have forced the hands of the govt completely.

Besides there are other several reasons like additional costs that are not in the PPRA template but have to be passed on to the consumers one way or the other.

I let you into a little secret, any tanker truck lifting fuel from any depot in Apapa pays nothing less than 30k within Apapa to police and Lastma officials to queue along the roads, this cost won't appear on the PPRA template for calculating subsidy entitlement, so are other several contingencies that are not captured on the PPRA templates.
