omosexy1: Well done esere for pointing out clearly the reality of religion. It is good you experienced them first hand and now you can never be confused or deceived again. I almost gave up attending the university because of religion back when I was in the university (thank God I did not). True salvation is not experienced by sitting down on a sunday sermon and listening to your so called MOG. You have to experience it, you have to feel it, only then would you truly be saved. Not by repetition of some crammed words of a MOG. Look deep into yourself, the very answer you seek is there. Do not look at your MOG, he cannot save you because he is even yet to save himself. Our Goal to know God can truly be answered, for when the student is ready, the master appears. These things highlighted are scary, because something like that has happened to me too I guess its easy for people who have never really stepped in that place and recovered to blab Indeed you are right: when the student is ready, he sits at the feet of the master |

@Op..i quite understand your point about the church. The church was always meant to be a place of spiritual learning where the people of God receive training and are eventually allowed and expected to fulfill their personal ministries in the market place and through various secular activities. Somewhere along the way we adopted an ineffective plan, which places all ministry in the hands of a singular man. The "pastor" along with a staff of "spiritual specialists" is then expected to be the teacher, encourager, counselor and soul-winner while the saints play a rather sterile supporting role by faithfully offering their time, talent and treasure to various programs outlined by church leadership. |
