sholay2011: I'm waiting for the day the following topics would make the frontpage...so I would know when to vacate nairaland:

1 '2-time grammy winner, Tonto Dicke thanks her fans for their unending support'.

2 'Pictures of Snake soup seasoned with cat meat'.

3 Dbanj and Don jazzy come together after a long time to sing a gospel track titled: 'Ogo oluwa beer palour'.

4 '509 ways of how a man should treat a woman'... (Mschew!-Is that another bible?)

5 'Lagos State government arrests three dogs for 'roaming about' and would be charged to court to face the full wrath of the law'.

6 'Reasons Christians should not celebrate christmas and Pastors, who are mostly fake by the way shouldn't receive tithes? (Though, they should ensure they run charity organisations. Smh.)

7 'Why am I on nairaland?'
fainted infront of a moving train.

SugaryBelle: Giant bush rat(ewi) is a rare specie of grasscutters usualy found under shrubs it is about three sizes bigger than a normal house rat and is very nutritious Recipe: fresh pepper scent leaves(nchuawu) african black pepper salt. Cut the meat into small sizes, wash an put in a pot, add all the ingredients except the scent leaves and cook for about 25 minutes, add the sliced scent leaves, stir and serve.Enjoy
Babe, you be bad girl. I live in delta state, use G. Agofure motors to warri. My cell no is not-hate-not-sicks-hate-hate-five.

That's some nice food you got right there. We call it rabbit in delta state, that is if it is the one with white tail. Giant rat has black tail tip.

Re: Giant Rat Peppersoup(pictures) by spyder880(m): 5:12pm On Jan 19, 2013
eldoradoxx: What the op seemed to describe as "Giant Rat" is probably what we call Grasscutter if am not mistaking! Otherwise, rat is rat whether "Giant "or slim and poisnous rodent. I concur with the funny remark as to who took the pix, op or the victim Giant Rat before its unfortunate journey to the pot of peppersoup to wet someone's insatiable appetite lol

Ewi is not the grasscutter, ewi is a giant bush rat. The grasscutter is called 'nchi', huge, wild and very tasty meat much more expensive than beaf. We drive more than 5 kiloeters to villages to eat well prepared grasscutters with palm wine and it aint cheap.
