Gunmen have attacked the convoy of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero. The incident took place this afternoon in Kano. The attackers opened fire from a motorcycle, the Emir escaped unhurt but his driver was not so lucky as he was killed by the hail of gunfire.
