Spherus Aviation, a German private aviation company with Jet Alliance of Austria, are partnering Cita-Triax Aviation to help in the development of business aviation in Nigeria.

Responding to questions during their flight demonstration tour in Lagos, the team led by Mr. Sebastian Kester, promised to use their expertise and contacts to develop business aviation in Nigeria, which he said was  currently being controlled in the continent by South Africa .

He noted that Nigeria was a very strategic country in the world with vast human and mineral resources and as the economy grows, new businesses would be springing up that require more frequent trips across the country and within the West African sub region.

“Nigerians are very resourceful and as such, we are here to provide them with more comfortable travelling tools that will promote their businesses in this most populous black nation of the world.

“Our partnership with Cita-Triax Aviation will surely help in developing business aviation as well as create more professional jobs within the aviation industry hence we are committed to training and human capacity building of Nigerians using our arrays of high class aviation institutions in Europe and the United States of America,” said Kester.

The chairman of Cita-Triax Aviation, Cliff Ogbede, re-affirmed the group’s commitment in the areas of human capacity building while at the same time helping Nigerians to make the right choice of aircraft acquisition that suits their mission.

“We will provide the best professional advice to our customers for them to make the right choice of aircraft and operation. We are here to sell airplanes, managing the airplanes by providing crew and maintenance, train locals and as well as help our clients to re-sell their airplanes at any time,” Ogbede said.

According to him, the partnership was already providing quick air charter operations using fleet of 10 passenger airplanes already positioned in Lagos and Abuja airports.

“We commend the Federal government of Nigeria in their efforts toward providing a comfortable flying environment for Nigerians and visitors to Nigeria and as such, ours is to continue to leverage on that platform to help in growing the aviation industry,” Ogbede added.
