I just bought a mitsubishi lancer HB 1500 I. Being my 1st official car, am really enjoying cruising in the car. Some people are advising me wash the engine, but from stories I have heard am scared. I need good advice should I wash or not? Those a clean engine affect performance of the car? |

if u must wash..i did advice you do a manual/hand washing....though i feel washing the engine is totally unnecessary as many people hv had their engines damaged cos of water affecting certain engine componenets...note a dirty engine doesnt affect engine performance. note: clean ur engine air filter thoroughly, periodically..thats one of the things that would affect engine performance n fuel consumption if its dirty |

A  s cretin has said just do manual/hand cleaning oh! My nissan maxima was wrecked when i washed the engine. It just went mad. |
