Pension Scam: Maina Ridiculing Jonathan Administration – Senate by fkaz(m): 3:28pm On Feb 09, 2013
The Senate panel investigating the fresh N195 billion pension scam has said that the chairman of the Pension Reforms Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, is ridiculing the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The vice chairman of the Senate Joint Committee on Public Service and Establishment and State and Local Government Administration, Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya (ANPP, Kano South) told journalists in Abuja yesterday that Maina had by ignoring the panel and suing the Senate and the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, showed that he was proving to be too powerful.
According to Gaya, if Maina escapes man’s judgment over the alleged pension fraud, he cannot escape God’s.
He said: “We asked the police to arrest Maina for severally refusing to appear before us on. The Senate president issued a warrant of arrest and we learnt that the police declared him wanted, but the following day, Maina told journalists that he was around and that the police could arrest him if they wanted to do so. But up till now, we haven’t heard of his arrest.
“How can an ordinary assistant director be so powerful that when we asked the permanent secretary in the Office of the Head of Service to re-assign him to another position, he (the permanent secretary) said he could not do so unless he was cleared from the above? Where is the above? If an ordinary assistant director could have the gut to sue the Senate president, the entire Senate and even the Inspector-General of Police; that is ridiculing the government.”

Pension scam is one of the greatest crime against humanity in this country. Most of our elder has gone to their grave with pain, while waiting For their entitlement.
And some of those who are ought to be responsible for their payment, are now playing hide and seek game.

Although, what is going to happen, Yusuf was ask to go home, after stealing 23billion.

It is impossible for Maina to defy senate summons and resist arrest with much arrogance and effrontery to sue the Senate without the support of GEJ. Enough of the charade, where kleptocrats are called upon to investigate thieves who rely on the support of a corruption aiding president. Its just a shame we have a nation that punishes hard work and meritorious service!

The senator should be ashamed of himself for saying that. Is he trying to tell us the senate president cannot be sued? It only shows how useless the senate is. Those that have the power to bring the president to order are finding it difficult to control an assistant director and the yeye senator is here telling us rubbish! Mtcheew.

Silly pension scammer, dumb administration.
If the pension scammer ridicules GEJ's administration, then what does the senate's own corrupt practices and inability and ineptitude to carry out their constitutional duty to get the scammer arrested do to the GEJ administration? Ultraridicule, i guess! Ornithological specimens of identical plumages.
If it were to be Tunde Bakare, Asari Dokubo and co fighting for the right of their people or criticizing the administration, they would know how to get them arrested with ease.
Pains me when they talk about God as if he works on the constitution, though judges what is right and wrong but gives us the free hand to make a constitutional and legal judgement.
