BY PETER OKUTU ABAKALIKI — UNIDENTIFIED persons, weekend, kidnapped a three-year-old boy, Ejike Emmanuel, at Akaeze in Ivo Local Government Area of the state. Vanguard gathered that the boy was abducted in front of his parent’s compound at Obulo-Iyioji village in Akaeze by two suspected kidnappers, a man and woman, who disguised as customers to the mother of the victim, Mrs Nnennaya Emmanuel. Narrating her ordeal, Mrs Emmanuel said: “I was closing my akara (bean cake) business for the day and dropped Ejike with his four- year-old sister, Nkiruka, and crossed over to the other side of the road to keep the bench I used for the business. “When I came back, my son was nowhere to be found. I only saw Nkiruka crying and pointing her finger at some people on a motorcycle.” In his account, the father, Mr Anyim Emmanuel, expressed disbelief that his child could ever be kidnapped on such an ever busy road and called on security agencies to help secure the release of his son. It was, however, learnt that the parents of the victim raised alarm which attracted some villagers who quickly organised a search party to locate the boy’s whereabouts but all efforts proved abortive as the kidnappers had disappeared. Police rescue two kidnapped children In a related development, two of the eight children kidnapped between December last year and early January at Ishiagu in the same local government have been found. Police sources noted that the two children were rescued in Owerri, ImoState, with the aid of members of the Criminal Investigation Department of Imo State Police Command, adding that they were found in the custody of a woman who allegedly bought them from the kidnappers for N600, 000. According to the source, the woman, whose name could not be immediately ascertained, was said to have paid N450,000 for the male child, while the female child was sold to her for N150,000. Meanwhile, Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officers, DSP Sylvester Igbo, who confirmed both incidents, said he was waiting for a formal report from the Divisional Police Officers in charge of the Ivo LGA before briefing journalists. He, however, said the Police had arrested a suspect (names withheld) in connection with the kidnap of little Ejike Emmanuel, stressing that the Police was determined to rid the state of kidnappers. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/02/kidnappers-sell-boys-for-n450000-girls-n150000/ |

dayokanu: Na normal business for them Herbalist nabbed with fresh human tongue, arm in Ogun On February 6, 2013 · In News 2:42 am 9 BY DAUD OLATUNJI ABEOKUTA — A herbalist identified as Chief Dandola Owotomo aka Amuludun Isese has been reportedly caught with human tongue, arm and a woman’s private part in Ijebu-Igbo, in Ijebu-Igbo North-East Local Government Area of Ogun State. He was said to be one of the three suspected ritualists arrested by police in the state in connection with the disappearance of a 70-year-old Kehinde Rabiu, who was declared missing at Idode-Imomo in the area. Vanguard findings revealed that Owotomo,65, was arrested at his residence in Oke Agbo, Ijebu-Igbo in Ijebu North Local Government Area by policemen from Atan Police Division following a tip- off. A police source from Atan Police Station, who pleaded anonymity, told Vanguard that the man was picked up by policemen after his house was searched where a shrine was uncovered with fresh human parts. The source further said the police got a tip-off from a member of the Idode-Imomo Community Development Association, CDA, in the area. It would be recalled that a kidnappers’ den was uncovered in the same area recently after the mysterious disappearance of the aged man which led to the arrest of three suspects. According to the police source, ”we went to Ijebu-Igbo with the support of the CDA member after we got a tip-off from the people. When we got to the man’s house, it was an eyesore. We discovered a calabash in one of his rooms where a fresh human tongue, human palm and a woman’s private parts were kept in a shrine drenched with blood assumed to be human blood. “We transferred him to Eleweran on Sunday and the Commissioner of Police has shown much interest in the case and had ordered that investigation should commence into the matter and he has promised to get to the root of the matter.” When contacted, the police spokesman in Ogun State, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed that some people had been arrested, said he was yet to be briefed on the latest happening. Meantime, residents of the area have begun deserting their houses to neighbouring towns such as Atan, Eruwon, Odosimadegun and Ijebu-Ode following the fear of kidnappers and ritualists in the area. Vanguard gathered that the residents believed their lives were no longer safe in the town following the discovery of the underground kidnappers’ den. 1 Like |

Police arrest 30-year-old homosexual for raping male teenager Written by Oluwatoyin Malik Sunday, 10 February 2013 00:00 font size decrease font size increase font size Be the first to comment! Rate this item 1 2 3 4 5 (0 votes) раскрутка сайтов AddThis Social Bookmark Button A 30-year-old man, Ayo Fatumbi, has been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command for indecently assaulting one Olaoluwa (not real name) by forcefully having anal sex with him. The crime was allegedly committed by the accused and one Ade who is currently at large on Thursday, January 24, at the residence of one Bolaji Adedayo on Gbadebo Street, Mokola area of Ibadan. Crime Features learnt that on the fateful day, Olaoluwa’s mother sent him on an errand and was intercepted on the staircase by Fatumbi and Ade. He was allegedly dragged into Adebayo’s room, who was not around then, after which his assailants brought out a knife, threatening to kill him if he would not submit himslef to their demand. They were said to have pulled off Olaoluwa’s clothes and took turns to insert their joysticks in his anus to have sex with him. After they allegedly had their way, they were said to have threatened him again that they knew his school, warning him strictly not to tell anyone. The bubble burst on Sunday, January 27, when, during Sunday School in the church, a woman noticed that the seat of Olaoluwa’s trousers was stained with blood as he was bleeding from his anus. After much persuasion, Olaoluwa opened up to the woman and narrated his experience to her. He was immediately rushed to Jericho Hospital, Ibadan where he was treated. The medical report indicated that “there are two noticeable tear (laceration) in the 6’oclock position of anal verge”. Fatumbi, who said he was married with two children said he was forced into the homosexual act by another man, Ade, whom he met through another friend. He, however, said that he only hugged the boy. According to Fatumbi, “I knew Bolaji on January 9, this year, through my friend, Busayo, whom I used to carry with my motorcycle which I use for commercial purpose. I met another man, Ade, through Busayo again, on Wednesday, January 23. Ade is also Bolaji’s friend. Busayo told me the guy was living in Akure. Ade asked for my number, saying that he would be calling me to take him out anytime he comes to Ibadan. “The following morning, on Thursday, Ade started calling, asking me to come and pick him to a place. Shortly after, Bolaji also called me to go and pick a bunch of keys that he forgot at the place I took him the previous day. I did not meet the person and I told him. He asked me to go to his house to wait for him. Ade called me thereafter and asked me to wait for him at Sango so that I could take him to Iwo Road for his onward journey to Akure. “We went together to Bolaji’s house and met his wife. She gave me the key to a room where I sat on the rug, charging my phone. Bolaji called me and said that the person I wanted to collect his key from had come and I should go back. I went to the backyard where his wife was washing to tell her but by the time I returned to the room, I met Ade with Olaoluwa in the room. “What I saw shocked me because they were in each other’s arms. Ade asked whether such had not been done with me before and I said no. I wanted to go out but he said I could not, threatening that he was a cultist. Ade dragged the boy onto a mattress behind a seater and had sex with him. After he had finished, he called me to come and take my turn. “ I held the boy, I could not do anything. Ade shouted at me to put my penis in the boy’s anus but I said I could not do it. Holding a knife, he also threatened that if we should tell anybody, he would kill us. After a while, he asked me to get up and the boy left. As I was leaving, Ade asked me to take him to Alakia area. He threatened me again and I promised not tell anyone.” However, 38-year-old Bolaji Adedayo, in whose room the crime was allegedly committed, confessed that though he did not join Ade and Fatumbi to indecently assault Olaoluwa, he was also into the practice until about a year ago when the man he was dating died. He revealed that he dated the man for two years, saying that they met at a party. Adedayo, a father of two, said he was introduced to homosexualism by one Gbenga while he was in school and he continued to engage in it even after marriage. He revealed that Gbenga would hold him in a hug and would caress his (Adedayo) penis until he would ejaculate. It was a different style with his late partner whose name he gave as Tayo. Adedayo said he used to put his penis between his partner’s inner thighs until he would attain the height of sexual pleasure. He said he had been trying to stop the habit but it had reduced from the way he was participating actively in the past. He added that his pastor was aware of his habit and been praying for him so that he could stop. Adedayo also told Crime Features that his friend, Busayo and Ade were also into same sex relationship. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr Clement Adoda, confirmed the story when contacted. |

Rate this item 1 2 3 4 5 (0 votes) раскрутка сайтов AddThis Social Bookmark Button THE police, in Lagos State, have arrested an Ikorodu-based auto dealer and five others, in connection with some of the stolen vehicles in the state as well as other neighbouring states. The auto dealer, Femi Ashiru, was arrested by operatives of the Special Anti- Robbery Squad which trailed a stolen Toyota Highlander Sport Utility Vehicle to his auto shop in Ikorodu. Four other stolen vehicles were recovered from the auto shop, FM Motors, in Igbogbo area of Ikorodu. Also recovered from the auto shop were one Hyundai Santra, two Toyota Camry saloon cars (1998 and 2010 models), a Toyota 4Runner jeep and a Toyota RAV4 jeep. The other five suspects were Saheed Adebayo, Isa Adegbenro, Afeez Ibrahim (Sharp man), Kayode Quadri and Seye Oyewole (aka Seyi Campus) while two others, who are regarded as the prime suspects, Kazeem (aka Naira) and Alaba, are still at large. Crime & Security gathered that the bubble burst when a tracking device in one of the stolen vehicles led to the invasion of the auto shop. When one of the suspects, Oyewole, was arrested, his confessional statement was said to have opened a can of worms on the activities of the gang. His statement revealed that the auto dealer was a receiver of stolen vehicles from the gang. “There was pressure from some senior police officers that the auto dealer should be released but the state police commissioner, Umar Manko, insisted on due process and the suspect was about to be taken to court when we arrested Seyi Campus. “His confessional statement, not only indicted the auto dealer, but also led to the arrest of four others at their hideouts in Ikorodu and Agbelekale, Oke-Odo, Agege, Lagos,” informed a police source, The auto dealer, while speaking with Crime & Security, admitted that the vehicles were recovered from his auto store and added that he bought them all from Seyi Campus, who he claimed to have known as a panel beater. Ashiru revealed that one of the policemen had called him to ask if he had a particular Honda CRV jeep and that the policeman had wanted to come and see his showroom. The policeman, in company with his colleagues, arrested him. He insisted that he was not aware that Campus and others were armed robbers. He claimed that he bought the Toyota 4Runner jeep for N800, 000, Toyota Camry saloon car (1998 model) N450, 000, Toyota Camry saloon car (2010 model) N950, 000, Hyundai SANTRA jeep N600, 000 and a Toyota RAV4 jeep N450,000. In his words, “ I knew Seyi Campus as a panel beater but, he did not tell me he was into robbery. He convinced me that his customers often asked him to dispose of some vehicles they were no longer in need of,” Ashiru said. Another member of the gang, Saheed Adebayo confessed to have been an armed robber, but claimed that he only joined the gang about two months ago. Adebayo, who clamed to be a land speculator in Imowo Nla, Ikorodu said that he met Kazeem (popularly known as Naira) about two months ago at Itamaga area of Ikorodu. “I met Naira at Itamaga where we used to smoke Indian hemp. He approached me that I should join his gang. When I asked him what his gang was into, he said armed robbery. As a land speculator, I have a dane gun which I use in the land business. Initially, I refused, but he continued to disturb me to the extent that the pressure became a threat to me. At that point, I had no choice than to join the gang. There was no way I could resist because he sent emissaries, especially Kayode Quadri and Afeez Ibrahim to my house, “ Naira disclosed. 37-seven-year-old Kayode Quadri, a driver with a nursery and primary school in Ikorodu also confessed to having participated in one or two of its operations, but claimed that Naira lured him to the crime. He said that they met at a mechanic workshop in Oke-Ota Ona area of Ikorodu, where some members of the gang had gone to smoke Indian hemp. Fondly called ‘Baba Nafisat’ by the gang, Quadri said “Naira approached me to join his gang. Though I declined but later, I agreed because I am a good driver, thinking that I would only be involved in driving the gang’s car during operations. He called and invited me, in the early hours of a particular day which was on Sunday, January 5, 2013. We all went to Adamo village, Ikorodu, where we snatched a Honda Civic saloon car from its lone occupant, “ Quadri said.

She went in search of love but found death instead •Story of widow killed by her lover for money ritual Written by Oluwatoyin Malik Sunday, 10 February 2013 00:00 KAFILAT Lateef was a young woman of 36 years. Widowed five years ago and left with three children, she must have felt the absence of a companion which made her yield to the love overtures of Gbenga Taiwo, then a plank seller at Bodija market, Ibadan. Their paths had crossed over two years ago, as she was also a trader in foodstuffs at the same market. Happy that she had found love again, Kafilat put in all she had into the relationship. Her family members were also happy that she was looking bright again. Putting her trust in the man she had had intimacy with several times since their relationship started, Kafilat did not think twice when Taiwo called her on January 19 , inviting her to Oyo town, where he had relocated since 2012. She returned to Ibadan on January 20 and went back to Oyo on January 21. He reportedly told her to come for the N50,000 he promised her. Happy that she would be seeing her lover again, she went to Oyo, and when her sister called her later, she told her that she was with Taiwo at Idi Ope area of Oyo. She was given food and drinks, which she took with happiness, not knowing that she was drinking to her own death. Unknown to her, her drink had been laced with drug, which sent her to sleep, from where she slipped to death. Information gathered from her lover, Taiwo, who had been arrested along with four others in connection with Kafilat’s death, revealed that immediately she became unconscious, the loverboy and his friends, Afeez Kareem and Lukman Ganiyu, who had already planned her death, clubbed her on the head with a digger, after which they put a kolanut in her mouth and buried her in a shallow grave already dug for the purpose. The act was carried out in a house where Ganiyu was working as a security guard. Sunday Tribune learnt that Taiwo was hellbent on becoming wealthy, not minding the means through which that would be achieved. He had reportedly approached an Islamic cleric, Mohammed Saheed, that he was interested in money ritual. Saheed claimed that he told Gbenga that he could not do such but gave him an alternative which could also yield money if done. Saheed reportedly told him to put a kolanut in the mouth of the corpse of an elderly man or woman and bring it the following day after the kolanut must have dropped from the corpse’s mouth. To quicken the process, Gbenga decided to employ the services of prostitutes which he would kill to achieve his aim. “However, when I approached prostitutes, I could not afford what they said I would pay if they should sleep in my house overnight. That was why I decided to make use of one of my numerous female friends,” Taiwo said. He further confessed that he tried two other lovers. He gave the names of his other lovers as Mama Iroko who came to him from Iroko, a surburb of Oyo town, and Mama Dada, a trader at Gbagi market whom he invited from Ibadan. He disclosed that while Mama Iroko did not sleep after her drink was laced with drug, Mama Dada suspected his motive, especially when she noticed the shallow grave that was dug. According to him, “she did not sleep throughout the night and when it was daytime, she asked me whether it was good for me to think evil towards her. She left thereafter.” Unfortunately, Kafilat became the victim, as she fell asleep after her drink was laced with drug. The following morning after she was buried, her suspected killers went to the graveside to take the kolanut as expected but to their consternation, there was none. They scrapped the earth off the remains and saw the kolanut still in the mouth of the corpse. When the trio saw that their plan had not worked, they reportedly decided to dismember her remains after severing the head. They allegedly burnt the pieces and buried them in another shallow grave by a dumpsite behind the house where the dastardly act was committed. Taiwo confessed to the police that he took the head to a herbalist, one Adeyemi Adedokun a.k.a. Baba Agbadu to use it for money ritual for him. Adedokun, however, denied being given the head, though he admitted that Taiwo brought the head to his house. Also, Mohammed Saheed from Ilesa-Baruba in Kwara State, whom Taiwo alleged to have asked him to bring kolanut, denied telling him to kill someone, saying he was only tring to help. Saheed, who said he was a Quranic teacher, told Sunday Tribune, that Taiwo came to him for money ritual but claimed that he told him he was not into such things. Saheed added that Taiwo also brought his friends Afeez and Lukman, who also wanted to do charms for authority and favour respectively. According to Saheed, “I told him what our forefathers used to do with kolanut from the mouth of an elderly dead person, saying that if this is done, it would be found by the graveside by the following day. “ I also told him that the deceased’s spirit would try to resist the kolanut being taken but if it could be forcefully taken, it would be used for a charm that would be bringing any fortune from wherever one may want. “Three days after, he came back with the kolanut but told me that he did not find the kolanut by the graveside, so he had to exhume the corpse to take it. “I sent him away that I would not be involved in such a thing because I had already told him that the kolanut should not be used on exhumed corpse, an accident victim or someone deliberately murdered.” Sunday Tribune further gathered that Taiwo was a wanted suspect in Oyo State Police Command in relation with cases of robbery in which he was involved. He was said to have abandoned his wife and only child, relocating to Oyo from Ibadan immediately he knew there was a manhunt for him. Police sources aslo told Sunday Tribune that Taiwo’s father had already disowned him as a result of the robbery cases he was allegedly involved in, unknown to him that he would still commit another crime. The father, Mr Joseph Taiwo, is said to be the pastor of God’s Foundation Church at Jakan area of Agbowo, Ibadan. The Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Iyaganku who is currently investigating the case, Mrs Janet Agbede, told Sunday Tribune that policemen comprising of Oyo SARS operatives, detectives from CID and Durbar Division set to work when Kafilat’s family reported the case of their missing relation, after efforts to locate Kafilat proved abortive. The family members had told the police that two days after Kafilat left for her lover’s place in Oyo, her line was not going through. They added that they later received a call from Kafilat’s line telling them that she had an accident in Lagos and was hospitalised in a general hospital but was disappointed when all efforts to locate Kafilat in any Lagos hospital proved abortive. Describing the act of the suspects as callous and despicable, Mrs Agbede, advised women to be wary of men they regard as lovers so that they would not fall victim to evil-minded persons. Sunday Tribune gathered that a pathologist has told police that the charred remains of the deceased would have to be taken abroad for autopsy and DNA. The cost was put at N1 million. |
