Eze F.C.:
Hear all of una dey blame NFF now. Whereas they only portrayed the Nigeria's mindset how many of u gave keshi a chance?

Hear them dey talk. Shame on us as lilly livered supporters born for just the good times!

Exactly, they all have been asking for Keshi's head immediately after the first match. I saw this coming, when some st.upid pot-belly,corrupt politician that had neither played nor managed any sport in their life are put to run the sport ministry.
They prefer to hire a foreign coach so that they can have a deal to have a cut of his salary.
Go on Keshi, resign, negotiate that foreign coach salary before you return.

It's more or less a business decision to negotiate better conditions of service or take up a better offer elsewhere.

Naijalane: Hmmm, naija things nawao. Sunday Mba, Victor Moses, Emenike etc oya make una retire too. Pride go kill una. because you people won simple AFCON thats why we no go hear word. Na salary increase wey he want, i tell you. Keshi no go retire
hey, he hinted in post match press conferences(vs mali) that he may not continue after the tournament. So stop wild accusations. I'm happy with both him and nff this time, think they(nff) r bit supportive this time. Like they way they handled the discriminatory officiating against nigeria in da group matches. This the same kind of support we expect from every setup in this country not on party waiting or pulling the other to fail.

Don't compare your yeye Nigerian Football Association to any European association. Which African coach in his right mind would dump his country immediately after an unprecedented success? Especially now that SE are in a bigger tournament next year. He's supposed to be a national hero and a patriot, but since selfishness is the hallmark of everything Nigerian, he goes along with the script.

Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has resigned from his job after leading the Super Eagles to their first Africa Nations Cup triumph in 19 years, but says he is waiting for the Federation's response.

Speaking to a popular South African radio show on Monday evening, Keshi explained that he handed in his resignation letter after the Cup Final on Sunday night.

"I gave them (NFF) my letter of resignation immediately after last night's game, but I haven't heard from them yet," Keshi told Metro FM on Monday night.

The statement sent shockwaves across social media platforms, with many fans on twitter saying how surprised they were to hear this.

MTNFootball is currently chasing the Nigeria Fotball Federation (NFF) to hear their side of the story and what their response will be.

Eagles spokesman Ben Alaiya told MTNFootball.com: "I don't have such an information."

While another top NFF official categorically denied that Keshi has quit, insisting that it is just a rumour.

What would their response be if not lies and denials?

There is a lot of begging (and phonecalls) going on now.... Keshi will probably stay eventually. He is in the driver's seat.

honeric01: You prepared someone's sack letter before he even finished his job, yet you want him to laugh with you?

wicked country!

So fcking well said!

That is why this Keshi is a GENIUS!

I was wondering how can a man sit down and be smiling, laughing and rejoicing with the incompetent fucktards that would have sacked him if he had lost to CIV, and then the man shocked me by doing this.

Kai! I love this guy. GENIUS!
