which environmental course do u actually wnt to go for? this will help in the search for a uni that offers it..as regards ur grade, alot of uni in Nigeria accept 2.2 for masters.

Biochem is good mostly outside that country. I graduated as a Biochemist in 2005, I managed for 7 yrs till I got chance to boast of myself anywhere as a Biochemist, got MS in Biochem and I'll continue to live biochemically Though I'm consideration going for pharmacology soon which is just another division of Biochemistry.

You just have to endure, the future is bright.

Well i want to pick up a job as a quality assurance personel, i have some theoretical knowledge, can you specify what your work schedule was like, i mean can you find time to write in details your work schedule as a quality assurance personel. Of d greatest metabolites... Once a proud Nabsite! Truth needed to be told, biochemistry is one course that is too demanding..puting al dos structures of vitamins(cobalamin), studying how d phosphokinases wrks, relating d importance of enzymology to d real life cld be funny.. Putting dat aside, a 2.1 or 2.2 in bch makes u beta 4 d game,anytin less..itz simply a waste of one years in d ivory tower..d sleepness nite, hw bch turned me into a guy dat end up using glasses and an addict of lipton is what thing that wld lingers for long... My advice for any bch graduate is to go 4 wateva ur mind tells u..dnt 4get ur passion it matters... When you mean metabolism of macromolecules you mean, lets say carbohydrates sugars. do you mean glycolysis leading to synthesis pf pyruvate then followed by citric acid cycle and electron transport chain. Anybody have idea of nucleic acid metabolism (purines and pyrimidines). Hola

Yea, and how their products are channeled to various other pathways. Everything would be connected at 400L, then you see that the whole Biochemical reaction in cell is like an electric circuit board.

The NAs can be formed from or converted to TCA metabolites but their main fate is to make nucleotides/nucleosides/cofactors/vitamins/coenzymes.
