it is evident that for over six months the Federal ministry of work and it director/controller of south west region are dead as they don't feel the suffering commuters and vehicles go thru from sango ota old toll gate zone to Iyana Ipaja, day in and day out we suffer and spend countless hours on traffic because of the failed portions and pot holes the are scattered all over this all important federal road.

Can somebody call the sleeping GEJ and his works minister to repair this road, is it until a minister/senator/politican die on this road before they do anything?

GEJ FMWH and FERMA please wake up to your responsibilities

Jonathan is busy on how to win election in 2015,so he doesn't care about you or the commuters that use that road daily.Despite the importance of the Apapa road to Nigeria economy, till date nothing has been done about it same with the ibadan road, benin road and east west and, one begins to wonder if there is really a president ruling Nigeria.

Jonathan is a disappointment to Nigeria.

Most of the commuters passing through that road also pay their Taxes to Fashola. All the Buses that ply that road daily pay Taxes to Fashola Agents on those highways. They can use some part of those Taxes to fix the road.

instaforex ngr: That road is one of the worst in Lagos

And the road is Federal Road.

The irresponsibilty of PDP/GEJ to see beyond their nose.

Only God knows how many time Lagos State will take away their burden?

1 billion naira thanksgiving money could have transformed that road to one of the best.

It is Federal road from Oshodi down to Sango Ota.

Even Obasanjo always avoid the holes when he was in power by taken Helicopter from MMA to his jungle home.

Sharrap

Did you know how much the state government spend on rehabilitation of lagos roads ? This road is a federal road and it's her duty to maintain it since the federal government also collects taxes in Lagos !

Most of the federal roads in Lagos state are seriously being neglected. And I believe their actions are political. From Oshodi to Sango, from Mile2 to Badagry, from Oshodi to Apapa, Ikorodu road is not spared too etc. Pls if the Federal govt is not ready to do them, Fashola and gang should do something by atleast patching the bad spots afterall, Lagosians pay tax to Fashola and gang. This year alone, I no how much I have spent repairing my car and also settling Fashola agents on the road.

And what exactly does Jonathan do then ? Because he wants to maintain his federal presence in Lagos,he took a road that he doesn't know it looks, collects taxes and spits at the road users that ply the road daily.I won't indulge you cuz you know nothing about federalism !

some people that are saying fashola should fix that roads because of taxes being paid are very ignorant of what is happening on that road.
Lagos state government is reconstructing and has reconstructed over 20 roads from iyana -ipaja. down to adura bustop. they are still good and intact because they reduce traffic on the main road but that main road is something else..it is getting out of hand. Lagos is doing their part and let federal do
theirs.

Would you stop lying you dis BOY. Is it Benin-Ore Road, that is virtuali complete, that you just said 'nothing is been done' about? You dey madt, ni?? The large chunk of Apapa Road was done last yr by Julius Berger and Borino but was then abandond cos of d usual Budgetary constraints; they are back now though. The East-West is probably d longest and certainly d most difficult road in dis country that span many coastal states, and work is going on different sections on dat road with most of d bridges already raised (work seem slow on sm sections though, BUT THERE IS NO WAY GEJ WUD NOT FINISH THAT 'HIS' ROAD B4 2015 even if it extends beyond d 2014 date it was initiali meant to be finishd)......@OP, hopefully d FERMA people wud hear you and complete d rehabilitatn work on dat important road. Whilst I was using dat road 2yrs ago it was not as bad as u just described, and cos of its importance FERMA shld do it asap. Weldone

Abeokuta Express Way is one of the worst roads to ever ply. Both sides are riddle with gigantic potholes about the size of a crater. Abule Egba road is an eye sore. The road from pleasure b/stop to iyana ipaja is a nightmare. The traffic in that region is enough to ruin ones day. FG needs to do something about this road. Its becoming unbearable & getting worse everyday. I ply this road everyday. Make una help us pass the message across
