[size=13pt]Igbo Kwenu! Welcome to the official Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland Polling Center for the 2013 by-election. For those who wish to follow this process from the beginning, kindly refer to the Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland: By-Election Nominations thread. The Eze Ndi Igbo Nairaland Election is organized by Igbos on Nairaland to nominate a leader among them, primarily for symbolic purposes. Essentially, it is a reward system for stand-out Igbos, as identified by Igbos, for Igbos on Nairaland. This year's by-election follows the unfortunate resignation of Eze Odumchi. The winner of this election will be announced on Friday, 1 March 2013, and assume his tenure where Eze Odumchi left off. The guideline for the by-election is as follow: OFFICIAL VOTING GUIDELINES 1. Election shall be done manually. Voters will indicate the candidate they are voting as Eze from the list of qualified candidates. 2. Candidates can vote for themselves or other candidates. 3. Only Igbos (and clearly identified allies) are permitted to vote. Votes outside this category shall be NULL and VOID. 4. Multiple votes, and votes cast with known multiple IDs shall be NULL and VOID. 5. The Electoral Team shall tally the votes and may release regular updates. 6. The Poll shall be open from Wednesday, 27/2/2013 at 9am WAT/8am GMT until Friday, 1/3/2013 at 6pm WAT/5pm GMT. 7. The Electoral Tribunal will resolve all issue concerning the polling 8. The official result of the election shall be released after all outstanding issues have been resolved with best effort.
