i have been in PHC for almost a month now carrying my CV from one end to another and roaming the city like sheep without shepherd yet i found nothing. Its more frustrating that i had a 2:1...does it mean dat PH is a dry place in terms of jobs? Maybe d frequent and regular jobs is prostitution(ashawo)work. Cos every manager i meet in PH wants to sleep with me first b4 getting me a job or b4 talking to his friends. Are there no good men left in this world? What are we becoming...all of us? Do we stop going to school and learn rather how to warm men's beds? I just hope that God isn't asleep cos am getting tired of everything. |

Besides that city is one of the most corrupt in Nigeria. Strictly on man-know-man. Just keep being steadfast in prayers, the lord will surely show u the way and prove to you that being good actually pays well. |

This your "it is only by man know man" before you get a job in port harcourt is wrong,Some of us knew no one before we got the one we have.I can tell u emphatically that people still get job based on merit. For those who have 2.1 in Engineering, halliburton and SLB have been advertising for entry level jobs every other day,why not give it a try, even as i write, halliburton still has open vacancies at entry level. All the folks around me knew no one before they got their jobs. Your man know man holds mostly for one-man companies. The multinationals will subject you yo series of test.Keep pushing, keep trying...when it is your turn you will fall into place. 1 Like |
