Note: My younger sister uses a Samsung galaxy s3 and she is full of praise for this phone.

Also it's over a month now and I am still enjoying this phone to the fullest. I can't even remember where I dumped my HTC desire HD. This is faster, brighter and sharper screen, lighter, more functional and battery last longer. And all for 25500, equivalent of £100, I don't even need an insurance for the phone, that's best value for money!!! God bless the makers of this phone. Sagem/Infinix/tecno.

if you need the specs like gsm arena, just install those benchmark software like antutu and get it your self.

Gionee is another good china registered company..There competing model is d gionee infinity (android ics, 4", amoled screen) wch sells #32000 here in Enugu. But d down side of it is d battery dat d users complained of. U can wait for gionee dream d1 wch will hv a lot of improvement.

The method suggested on your link requires one to install MediaTek(MTK) USB drivers and if I am correct, Infinix Race Bolt uses Qualcomm chipsets.
Does this method actually work for you? I need to be sure so I don't brick my phone in the process of using those MTK USB drivers for a Qualcomm-driven Android device.
*BTW, Gionee Infinity & CTRL v4 are MTK-powered, so the suggested rooting method may work for them.

I bought an infinix x450 popularly called a race bolt a week ago to compliment my HTC desire HD. The phone was sold for 25500. So far I have had no issues with this phone. The specification is below.

battery: 1700mAh

Connectivity: Wifi, Wifi hotspot, GPS, AGPS, USB, Bluetooth 3.0
Sensor: G sensor, Light sensor, Proximity Sensor
Additional:FM radio, Dual Sim, 1year Warranty Platinum Card, free case, free 8Gb memory card, earphone.

Infinix in Nigeria Shares same service centre with tecno i.e Carlcare.



The battery is good. Even with 3g conection on, it last about 30hours with moderate use. I.e moderate browsing, game and music . with heavy use say from 8 till 5pm. The battery would have dropped to bout 12% by 4 - 5pm and that 12%. The 12% could last an additional one hour or more with heavy use!

The phone is fast(with no lags), amazing for games and videos. It has rich contrast and colour, I am not suprised here, might be a result of the 540 x 960 screen resolution. It even comes loaded with a trimmed version of asphalt 6 and shark attack . it comes with flash player and youtube app as well. The Browsing experience is great. Browsing is fast both on phone and when tethered with laptop. Its very easy to connect contacts despite the phone being dual sim.it performed well above my expectation.
