For this 'curse', the sword shall not depart from thy house and lineage. These men are only doing what is in their blood, the lust for blood, after their father, 'awo ole owo' who slew innocent women and children, now with blood in their eyes they are fighting over the juiciest of petty contracts.
Where is dayokanu, bluetooth, eko ile, gbawe the red eye man and the rest of the retardeen choir. GEJ is saving lives even in apc states while your masters are destroying the land. Shame!

A bunch of Yoruba men fight, breaking the mace and using an assortment of weapons.. YET, NO CASUALTY WAS REPORTED. grin

Reason: they fought more with their mouths than with their hands..

If a video of the fight is shown, all you will see is a bunch of grown ass men jumping on the table, throwing chairs at nobody, screaming words like;

Don't worry folks that is only an act of violence in UNITY. The most educated and united thugs in Nigeria were only showing what they perfectly know how to do well. It began in 1963 repeated itself again in 1983, this is 2013 with their third position amongst the major tribes in Nigeria, these people love 3 too much but love celebrating 3s with violence.

Will an educated, united , love, respectful people settle their differences with violence? answer me this question if you are not among them. Any one that will ban this my comment is an ANIMAL.

Southwest Nairalanders should come out and prove to us how they do criticize their most qualified future National Legislators and over celebrated politicians.

Yesterday's question was where and when have dayokanu or any
southwest radical nairalander (desola, eko ile, ilegunboy, kingoflag etc) criticise
any yoruba politician. Unless when
you want to demonize opposition
party.

dayokanu:

Yorubas were the fiercest critics of Obasanjo regime even when people like you were quiet.

Gani, Falana, Soyinka and Tinubu were OBJ worst critics

The problem with the current democratic dispensation in Nigeria is not the different parties on display but the personalities behind the party.

That's why I hardly take some folks serious on this forum, who are hell bent on painting PDP as demonic but don't bother to take a check on the parties where their sympathy lies.

I was very much aware of when this crisis was brewing, was expecting the governor to step in and attend to series of grouse against his approach to running the affairs of the State and stem the looming crisis but seem it was not to be.

The State Attorney-General (son of the late Hubert Ogunde) had to submit his resignation letter when he couldn't cope with the over bearing attitude of the governor, the issue was seen as an embarrassment and currently being redressed.

Amosun is a good administrator, no doubt, but there's need for him to review some of his stands against other institution of governments, his alpha and omega posture to governance is not healthy for Democracy...

Maxymilliano: I already envisaged it will degenerate to this, the report emanating from the House has not been palatable lately, I remember telling someone recently that current situation in the Ogun State chapter of ACN is a microcosm of what is in PDP at national level.

The house has been divided into three factions for a while now, the current speaker is too close to the governor, a three time House of Rep member interested in the Governor seat in 2015 is breathing down hard on the party stalwarts and buying some of the House of Assembly members into his camp, the complicity of the governor in not carrying the house members along in decision makings has not been helpful...

As someone who is close to some of the lawmakers and officials f the State house, I ain't a bit surprised though, I know it will surely get to this stage but never knew it will happen this soon...

Quite interesting how factual you were grin

To a large extent he is correct.
But the only point he raised that is no more valid is that of the Rep. Member Akinlade who previously have an interest in the Governorship in 2011 and 2015. With all sincerity, he is no more interested not just because he does not want to again, but because he just cannot win ACN primaries against Amosun with the current performance of SIA. Though he still funds some house of assembly members just for political clout. Also it is not totally true that Ogun ACN is totally divided at top helms of affair, initially there were three groups. Osoba group, SIA group and Kaka group. But now everybody has come together as one except Kaka group which still have some grouses with Amosun over the last local government election. The maturity Osoba is displaying is top level. Hardly interfering in Amosun's government except when called upon by the Governor himself. We have a red-line for factionalization in ACN, it can never be crossed by anyone. Am from Osoba's camp anyway.

Good one bro, but Akinlade is still much interested in the governorship post, it was part of the agreement he had with the ACN, before jumping ship from PDP, consultations is undergoing and he's also weighing the option of contesting under the banner of Labour party.

As an insider you claimed, how come Akinlade could meander his way into the House and win the heart of some of the lawmakers if indeed the red-line of factionalization existing in the party cannot be breached except you want to tell me that people like Remmy Hassan and his cohorts can be easily bought?

There has been disaffection among the ranks in the party, it was made more pronounced after the LG election where the original list of candidates was dropped by INEC for the governor's list, some party chieftains whose candidate lost out were placated with brand new prado jeeps.

The Awori Agenda as championed by some of the party elders in Ogun West is another issue I wish you look into, there's more to it than what was reported in the dailies. Are you aware there were moves to bring GNI (OGD's candidate in last election under PPN) to ACN by some party members to unsettle the incumbent before the dude later pitched his tent with the Labour party?

Bros make I no talk much sha but I sincerely wish the governor can manage some of the crisis before it gets out of hand.

Geomac: What is wrong with this Ogun House of Assembly? During Gbenga Daniel it was a Hell of Assembly. Why? Why Yoruba?

U re a f**l to ask that. WHY YORUBA?
That same thing happened in Edo, which one member lost his life.
The same thing happened in Anambra, which the governor was kidnap.
The same thing also happened in house of assembly in ABUJA, an HON
Died in the process.
So what is now new if it happens in Ogun state? Mind u? Ogun state is
Full of grate minds in politics. So such is bond to happen.
