The dining room/table became obsolete since I was a kid. Then my parents redesigned the room for family living while the sitting remained for guests only. Tried to restore dining in my house but it just doesn't work and am thinking of tossing the table out for something useful. I guess modern culture has permitted us other things - reading, gaming, t.v., swimming, etc while eating. All the youthful etiq. of not talking, square shoulders, staring ahead is gone for good. |

Can't remember. Used it only when we got married newly, then stopped and finally moved the dining to the kitchen, still guys take their food to the sitting room to eat and watch tv. |

Rooneyboy: Eating on the dining table doesn't make me bellefull ; I'm more comfortable having my food in my room while a cool music plays @ the background, I be original black man, eating on the dining table na for white man; can't imagine myself eating a bowl of eba(african man dish) on the (white man's) dining table. crock of bull, you can also run to your village and eat from ur hut instead and leave ur white mans toys to we urbanized sellouts! |
