Hmmm.... Chelsea fan? check the foreign leagues and European football sections which are very active every weekend and some weekdays......... AS FROM AUGUST 2016. Season's over....... Just a couple of finals to wrap up in Europe (UCL, Europa league, English fa cup, and a few others). But this is for Nigerian football league only. Quite surprised to see your moniker here.... You are more of a romancelander I'm sure..... Anyway, welcome.... and uhmm... same goes to your bestie. Visit whenever you please. There's basketball thread and national teams threads also.... but I doubt you follow football that much. Probably just follow the blues only..... Adios Mademoiselle..... HateU2: |

Re: Official NPFL Thread. (nigerian Professional Football League) by RedReact: 4:01pm On May 16, 2016 |
TheSuperNerd:I never read about that until now. I don't even know why they sacked Ogunbote, after what he did last season. Probably they will go and beg Ogunbote again, I don't know. If I were Ikhana too, I will quit the job. Almost all the 3SC players have been loaned out, due to no salary for the guys. I just hope 3SC management will get their house in good shape and not allow the club go into relegation. Every relegation we suffered has always been as a result of financial crisis. |

Oh yes.... you are. You certainly are a romancelander.... Wonder what team your bestie supports..... hmmm... But honestly, you both don't look like you have a clue about the "beautiful game", its happenings and many moments of legend and drama... and more But hey, prove me wrong..... won't be a bad thing to be wrong about you on this one. 3SC (IICC Shooting Stars as former name)....... their name alone carries the stuff of legends. Only heard and read about their exploits. Wasn't even born until the early 90s. I do hope they can bounce back.... but with the way things are now.... it's gonna take a home-run of keen efforts to turn things around in 3SC's club management. Read that the 3SC general secretary or some other top official never got along with Kadiri Ikhana and added to that is all you've already mentioned. 3SC is in danger of relegation this season (may be I'm a bit too early) but I hope they do a "Sunderland" RedReact: |

Game between Enyimba and Giwa could not hold as Giwa again failed to show up. Their letter to have the game rescheduled also didn't meet the 72-hour timeline given for clubs to notify the LMC for rescheduling at latest 72 hours to game concerned. Giwa has thus been expelled from the Nigerian topflight division - The NPFL. They also forfeit all monetary benefits accrued through the LMC and much more. groundnutoil: I don't see Zamalek as a huge threat as such, although they can prove to be one. I think Mamelodi of SA is a good threat at the moment and so should be watched closely. However, Al Ahly being a favorite table topper in Group A, Enyimba will have to avoid them as early as possible by finishing 1st in group B. Also, the strenous npfl league season takes its toll on our clubs' energy when they go to international commitments. If our league is running smoothly, our clubs can win CAF trophies any day. I strongly believe in the future of the npfl, and I can see it so close. But first, let's do something to force our govts' hands off the league. |

If Enyimba can return to their spiritual home ground, win 3 home games and get at most 2 points away, then we are through to the semis. But we can still do all these no matter where we play because #WeAreEnyimba |
