Executive Secretary of the Benue State Agency for the
Control of AIDS (BENSACA) Mrs. Grace Ashi Wende
yesterday said over 400 homosexuals known as Men
Sleeping with Men (MSM) exist under an organised
association in the state.
The MSM were discovered during an epidemic
appraisal carried out by a Canadian partners in
collaboration with BENSACA following the state
government’s resolve to fight the increasing trend of
HIV/AIDs as shown in 2011 ANC survey.
She also disclosed that 318,888 children are currently
living with the HIV/AIDS virus and placed on Anti
Retroviral therapy.
Wende, who made this disclosure at a one day
training of media practitioners on HIV/AIDS in
Makurdi, said “over 708,640 adults are also living with
the virus in the state.”

^^^Quit being paranoid.....maybe it's this denial attitude that making Benue have the highest HIV prevalence rate in Nigeria, and hiding your head in the sand pretending the problem doesn't exist could only make things get worse!

To get a handle on the problem; you either find the gays and line them up for a firing squad.......or alternatively, you try and work with them and give advice. You can still try and fight the HIV problem in Benue without necessarily approving of anyones lifestyle or legalizing anything.

I reckon there are more gays in places like UK and Netherlands, but they have a much lower prevalence rate; why's that?

Because the gay people in UK and Netherlands are screwing each other and leaving the women out of it. Since the gay people are a small subset, the sickness remains within the subset. In Nigeria however, the gay people marry women and have girlfriends to prove their 'manhood' while creeping out at night to hump male a55.

Come on, don't be naive! It's been proven time and time again that the ( male )gay community has a higher rate of infection than any other community. I don't know if its the process involved or the high risk nature of man.
